In Japan, the new year is the biggest holiday of them all. New years in Japan is like Christmas for America.

The band Van Halen is canceling all of U.S. tour dates after June 26th including a stop in Cincinnati.

The band was set to perform August 12th at U.S. Bank Arena. No future date for the concert has been set.

The arena's website says refunds are available at the point of purchase.

The band gave no explanation for the change but a source with knowledge of the tour tells Rolling Stone Magazine the band members hate each other and are fighting.

Wow. They've gotten as bad as Axel Rose.

A radio station was giving away tickets to the concert and a trip to the one in Cincy as a grand prize.

D'OH...

That's good to hear. I understand why 20 and even 30something year old stars get all bitchy and quit on each other. I have a harder time understanding old men incapable of conflict resolution.

...And jealous of everyone with tickets to the show. It should be a great one when it happens.
