T-Dub
Interesting. It was mentioned elsewhere that Atlanta reportedly "knew" Eifert was the pick @ #21, thought that was kinda odd but this makes it seem less so.. Seems like a smart idea to get on good terms with a solid NFC team since you're not going to be competing but once every 4 years outside of a SB matchup anyway. Good "in" for possible trades & so on. scharm
gonna be hot. Good sparring competition consider ATL was just no. 1 seed and a couple plays away from superbowl.
|Numbers|
I know this is going to sound odd but why Atlanta Falcons ? This doesn't happen often in the Bengals world. Is there a connection somewhere I am missing ?

Bengals1181
Zach Wells @WellsZach6m A main reason for the #Bengals organizing practices with the Falcons? To study a good team's players to possibly add after final cuts.
|Numbers|
they open the preseason at Atlanta a few days later. In 2012, the Falcons did it with the Titans , they had no preseason games or regular season games with them that year. In 2011, the Falcons did it with the Jags (one preseason game-lost 13-15 and one regular season game won 41-14) In 2010, the Falcons did it with Pats Jags (one preseason game each and no regular season games) Falcons coach Mike Smith and Bengals coach Marvin Lewis are good friends dating back to their days with the Baltimore Ravens. http://www.ajc.com/news/sports/football/falcons-to-practice-with-bengals-before-exhibition/nXfKd/ The only consistent thing is they did it against AFC teams each time they have done this. |Bunghole|
Why are we allowing the team we are going to face in the Superbowl next season to see the wrinkles in our playbooks? Bad idea.
