The team never wanted to wear that jersey with the white helmets, but in 2022 the league had a rule that alternate color shells had to be paired with classic, alternate, or color rush jerseys. They couldn't be paired with a regularly-worn jersey. Last year the team petitioned the league to let them wear the white helmet with the regular white jersey and the request was granted.

Who has a better alternate jersey?

NooooooBODY.

(gotta mention the Suns "City Edition" even though it's not everyone's favorite.  Loved the 8-bit style.)

and of course the San Antonio Missions (Padres Double-A club) alternate as the Flying Chanclas

Mike G’s was ruled a touchdown on the field, then reversed via replay. Absolute BS. Hudson should have had a TD also, but fumbled at the 1 yard line.

Agree that this week will be tough, but they have to win these home games. If they can pressure Hurts, they should have some success defensively. No pressure = cooked against this Philly offense.

oh man i forgot the Hudson one... trauma response

Always liked the block numbers on the color rush, alas they appear to be retired

Me too, that should be the default jersey. Burn the orange jersey/pants and don't bring out the black before halloween.

Philadelphia Eagles at Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5)

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Both of these teams seem to have righted things from their slow starts. The Eagles are playing consecutive road games, which will be a challenge after winning a division game last week. The Philadelphia defense will be challenged by Joe Burrow and the passing game. Look for Burrow to have a big day. The Bengals will take it to even their record.

Pick: Bengals 30, Eagles 20
