The bowing to Trump is already starting. Anyone who wants to be Senate majority leader has to agree to approve Trump’s Cabinet nominees without a vote by the whole Senate, and so far, the front runners are all agreeing to it.

If it has to pass the Senate - Not sure this will happen.  I don't think he is very popular with Reps/Dems in the Senate.

I would hope that there would be a couple of Republican senators with some common sense who would vote against this, but I fear that they’re all afraid of what Trump would do to their careers if they disagree with him.

Trump has asked for recess appointments so that they dont have to get congressional approval, there is a time limit on those kinds of appointments as I understand it though.
