Not a fucking word.

Just affirms my belief that the media elects the President, not the people...
We need to boycott and protest the media. They are supposed to report news, not their ideals.
Oh, but there's a shit-ton of news about how Joe Lieberman is going to endorse John McCain.

Isn't that like Stalin endorsing Hitler?

Fuckers....

I probably only agree with him on about 50 % of his ideas (love his civil liberties ideas and stance on war, trade agreements, CIA etc --- don't like his embrace of capitalism) .... still it is nice to see ... and I do enjoy his refreshing honesty even when I don't agree with his ideals.

It will be interesting to see how the Paul fans respond when he most likely does not win the early primaries ...

Peaceful rEVOLution usually runs up against a wall that can't be broken without force.

I agree with probably 80 to 90 % of what he says because I've always considered myself to be more Libertarian in principle than Republican or Democrat. It's kind of odd that he seems to be getting so much support from the left though. I have to attribute that primarily to his stance on Iraq. I don't see too many other things in his platform that would traditionally appeal to the left leaning people.

Let's face it though, he isn't electable. At least not now. Supporting him though, could have the effect that I've always felt third parties could have. To eventually force the two major parties to adopt some of the things they're advocating. ( I know he's running as a Republican, but he's a Libertarian at heart ) Maybe it will cause more like minded people to run, and win more state and local elections, eventually leading to the kind of changes he advocates.

Well he has been a republican congressman 10 times I believe.

He ran for president in 1988 on the Libertarian ticket because he lost the primary. Thats where he saw how useless it is to run as a 3rd party in this country.

He is a republican (small government) by definition. Just because the party has gone neo-con, doesn't make Paul any less of a republican.

I'll give you that, but it's just semantics. Libertarians for the most part are what the Republicans claim to be, even though that's not what they are in reality.
