I don't know if he is a huge upgrade to the mix. The next three at safety that I like were Rambo-Thomas and TJ McDonald I really like Carroll. He seems like a down to earth guy. IMO the plan is to get kirkpatrick more involved on D so that Pacman can spend more time on special teams. Maybe Gio as his backup. then you keep bernard scott to be your kick returner.
