Didn't see it posted but according to marv in the post game, Fisher has a sprained ankle and should be back game 1. We're talking Marvin speak here so in reality his career is probably over. :Troll-min:

"The amputation was a success and he'll be back on his foot in no time." Marvin Lewis

Any time someone has an early injury seems like we hear about how he never completely recovered the rest of the season.  Specifically, lets see how it goes with Ogbuehi's toe (...Archie Griffin... Jack Lambert...) and I don't even want to THINK about The Third's injury.

But this year's first round draft pick, last year's first and second round draft picks and recent first round pick Eifert all injured... totally makes a partial vacuum with its mouth.

Westermen? Or is he a guard?

Not sure Westerman is nimble enough to move outside even in a part-time role.

Trey Hopkins might be though. Saw that he had been getting reps at all 5 spots on the OL.

Aside from one of the guards like Hopkins moving outside, all we have left at OT behind Winston are a couple undrafted rookies.

So who, besides the indomitable Eric Winston, gets to try out at RT until this nightmare preseason concludes?

Random backend guys and Trey Hopkins is technically capable of it. If we need a RT come regular season Boling is more than capable of playing RT well which would be better than a deep backup as a guy like Westerman could play LG and hold his own as well.

Good call, I forgot that Boling has played some OT.

You're probably right that if neither Ogbuehi or Fisher are back for Week 1 and something happens to Whit or Winston, Boling would probably move to OT.

X2 would agree.   Depth on the line is still needed.   Would you add a Tackle or  ?
