Spotto
Let's save some money, a 7th Round CB is better than Dre.
thezerawkid
Trade bait? I’d take a fifth and a sixer of PBR. The problem is, he’d probably do the same.
|High School Harry|
One comment I read somewhere was that he is more respected around the league than he is by the fans here. After seeing BM Webb Kirkpatrick looks a lot better to me.

Jason
Dre is a decent #2 CB. He is good in coverage against bigger, physical WRs. The problem is we don’t match up our CBs and therefore teams can exploit his weaknesses by putting a WR he struggles with on his side.

Dre has size and physical skills, but he gets lost in coverage way too often (meaning even if he's with his man he's in no position to play the ball) and worse he avoids tackles constantly (and yet still gets injured). If the rest of your secondary is downright stellar, ok he might look "decent". Anything less and he's a straight up liability. Take his salary into it and it's just a terrible investment at best.
