Arkansas Bengal
Chris Roling Wed, Oct 11, 2023, 10:00 PM CDT·1 min read A week ago, Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson played through a back injury that had him listed as questionable at all for the game. And he dominated. As Bengals fans have come to expect, that’s par for the course for Hendrickson, one of the league’s most efficient — but underrated — pass-rushers. Case in point, through five games, Hendrickson is one of just 10 players in the NFL with a pass-rush win rate north of 20 percent, as captured in chart format by PFF’s Sam Monson. That puts Hendrickson alongside names like Myles Garrett, Nick Bosa and Micah Parsons, though he’s not usually on the same level from an attention standpoint nationally. Making the showing so far this season all the more impressive is just how poor the rest of Bengals pass-rushers have been at pressuring pockets. If the likes of Sam Hubbard, Joseph Ossai and even first-rounder Myles Murphy can provide more, Hendrickson might manage to climb even higher on a list like this: https://sports.yahoo.com/bengals-trey-hendrickson-ranks-amongst-030033377.html

He deserves more accolades, but I'm OK with him sneaking up on people and flying under the radar. We know how good he is.
texbengal
He's had a great start to the year. He had a few other sacks called back due to penalty, too. BTW, 32% for Myles Garrett is insane. Would like to see more pass rush productivity from the backups... I know it's early, but I thought Sample and Ossai might break out this year. Neither has done much yet. Good news, though - Myles Murphy has started flashing the last few weeks.

PatternMaster
Trey is one of my favorite players, I hope his able to finish his career in Cincinnati. He's the Joe Burrow of the defense, when he's playing at a high level the defense is one of the best units in the NFL.

Hard to imagine what the pass rush would be without him.

Their biggest problem on defense IMO. All of that speed and athleticism in the secondary has helped. Hopefully Ossai getting back to full strength is a shot in the arm.
