KJ Henry poached off of PS by the Cowboys. With Parsons and Lawrence hurt, they need reinforcements. He was signed to their active roster on a 2-year deal.

Good for him.

Yeah, good for him.

Hope he gets a couple sacks this Sunday vs the Squeels.

I swear, every time I see this thread, I read "Rooster Juggling."

If I'd gotten my brain from Walmart, I'd take it back and ask for one that isn't defective.

Aaaaand that pretty much seals the deal.

And, of course, with profound thanks to @MichaelWeston , this has now been codified, the dark side has won and I'll now spend the rest of the season monitoring our 53-man rooster. (<-- let's see what AI can do with that one)

Andrew Stueber added to our roster

Stueber was a four-star recruit and first-team All-Connecticut pick as a junior and senior at Darien High School. Stueber redshirted the 2017 season in Ann Arbor, playing in one game on special teams. He started twice at right tackle in 2018, playing in all 13 contests for the Wolverines. A torn ACL suffered in training camp kept Stueber out for the entire 2019 season but he returned to start all six games in 2020, two at right guard and then four at right tackle. The Wolverines won the 2021 Joe Moore Award as the nation's top offensive line, in part because of Stueber's play in 14 starts at right tackle. He was voted third-team All-Big Ten Conference for his efforts. -- by Chad Reuter

Overview

Beefy right tackle prospect who succeeds with toughness and strength. Stueber is split-low with excess girth across his torso and might have teams considering him as both a guard and a tackle. He's strong in his uppers and lowers but would benefit from better bend for increased leverage. He plays with good feel for pocket depth and can neutralize power rushers but will have trouble successfully setting out to NFL edge speed. He's built for power and gap run schemes but is more of a neutralizer than finisher. Toughness, size, strength and potential as a two-position player add to his chances of playing in the league.

Strengths

  • Broad frame allows for good width into the block.
  • Powerful and tough in the trenches.
  • Accelerates through point of impact on down blocks.
  • Works with independent hands and well-timed punch.
  • Rifles outside hand into rusher's pads with force.
  • Flat-back pass sets with stabilized base.
  • Firm through engagement with a strong core.
  • Hand strength to snatch up rusher and sit on the counter.
  • Frame and strength for reps at guard.

Weaknesses

  • Below-average body type for the position.
  • Struggled as a run blocker in Georgia game.
  • Can be out-positioned by length as run blocker.
  • Straight-legged on kick-out blocks.
  • Opens shoulders and hips too early in his pass sets.
  • No second gear to save his outside edge against speed.
  • Lacks desired foot quickness to cut off inside moves.
  • Below-average recovery athleticism.

"The Georgia game didn't bother me because I'm already OK with his limitations. I'm writing him as a guard, where I think he has a chance to be a starter." -- Scout for AFC team

Sometimes people get offended when you call them into question and sometimes they do things that simply confirm what you thought and you get a chuckle out of it

Listing the players we signed and showing information about them is that?
