Abraham was a 6th rounder for the Colts. He is the son of Donnie Abraham

SUMMARY: Micah Abraham, the youngest of three, grew up in a football family. His father (Donnie) was a third-round pick in the 1996 NFL Draft and collected 38
interceptions in his NFL career (he is currently a coach in the UFL). Micah was All-Region in football and track at East Lake High and was a three-star recruit, signing
with Marshall over Boston College. He started as a true freshman (originally at safety before moving to corner) and finished his career with a school-record 55 passes
defended. Abraham has terrific eyes and feel for passing concepts, which allows him to jump throws and put his ball skills to good use. Though he can usually recover
in time, his aggressive style will force him out of phase, and NFL quarterbacks will test him early and often. He can be outmuscled through the route. Overall,
Abraham is undersized, but he posted outstanding on-ball production in college and has the NFL speed and bloodlines that won’t go unnoticed

Added Marco Wilson

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/marco-wilson/32005749-4c74-9995-14dd-2c0bb7452094

Marco is the brother of former Florida cornerback Quincy Wilson (currently with the New York Giants) and the son of former Miami defensive back Chad Wilson. Marco lost his junior season at American Heritage High School (where his father was an assistant coach for some time) to a torn ACL but returned the following fall to earn USA Today All-American and first-team Class 5A All-Broward squad. Wilson became an immediate starter for the Gators his true freshman season, beginning all 11 contests (34 tackles, 10 pass breakups). His sophomore season was cut short after just two starts (posting one pass breakup), however, because of a torn left ACL. Wilson once again returned from injury to start all 13 games in 2019, recording 36 tackles, 2.5 for loss, three interceptions and five pass breakups. He decided to leave Gainesville after the 2020 season, where he started nine of 10 contests played (33 tackles, four pass breakups) but made the most headlines with an unsportsmanlike conduct call against LSU that cost Florida the game. -- by Chad Reuter

Overview

Ingredients like size, speed, strength and athleticism are all present, but Wilson hasn't been able to combine them and make a meal since early in his career. He clearly has the athletic talent and skill set to be a much better man defender than he showed in 2020. His size and strength are big advantages when it's time to play the 50-50 balls, but he needs to do a more consistent job of crowding his targets and maintaining his positioning through the rep. There are times when the coverage pursuit simply looks too lackadaisical and not consistently competitive from game to game. Wilson's run-support effort needs a lot of work, as teams will find and exploit it if he is on the field. He has the traits and athleticism of a Day 2 starter, but with the tape of a Day 3 backup with inside/outside versatility.

Strengths

  • One of four true freshmen to start at cornerback in Florida history.
  • Brother of NFL defensive back Quincy Wilson.
  • Good size with plenty of play strength.
  • Athletic, with smooth hips in transitions.
  • Willing to attack and jump the slant route.
  • Sees route progressions clearly from zone.
  • Disciplined to midpoint high-low route combinations.
  • Good closing burst when he's in recovery mode.
  • Explosive leaper with ability to shade the jump ball.
  • Forceful at the catch point.

Weaknesses

  • Best season was as a freshman in 2017.
  • Late getting into position multiple times pre-snap.
  • His man coverage wasn't as competitive in 2020.
  • Needs to play with better squeeze at the top of the route.
  • Beat deep twice in the game against Texas A&M.
  • Will get a little too upright in space.
  • Run-support demeanor is lacking.
  • Doesn't look to see, hit and wrap the runner.

For some reason we have an open roster and practice squad position.

Activating someone off IR?  No idea who would be likely at this point.

Cade York to main roster

Added to practice squad

Joe Giles-Harris LB

Jaylen Key S

Jaylen Key-Jets 7th rounder

Overview

UAB transfer who started the full 2023 season for the Tide. Key has the size and play strength of an NFL safety but is not as active or consistent as he needs to be as a run defender. He's a decent athlete and can cover straight-line routes but doesn't play with enough route anticipation or make-up burst to contest many catches. Key's physical traits work in his favor, but he needs to have a definable play trait as either a run defender or in coverage, and that seems to be missing.

Strengths

  • Built like an NFL safety with a solid frame and good length.
  • Adequate footwork and body control working from a pedal.
  • Size and play strength to line up over tight ends in coverage.
  • Possesses decent stopping power as hitter near the box.
  • Mentality and toughness to become core special teams player.

Weaknesses

  • Has had issues blanking on coverage obligations.
  • Slow to transition hips and hit accelerator to chase receiver.
  • Very low on-ball production relative to man-cover reps.
  • Delayed reaction from high safety perch as run defender.
  • Below-average balance, positioning and wrap-up as tackler.
