JC
So last year, we saw Tyler just skyrocket up the boards. Some mocks had him going around 9th and he unexpectedly fell right into our laps. We saw Kyle Long, DJ Fluker, DJ Hayden, and Travis Fredrick either rise up the first round board or surprisingly go in the first round. Guys like Shariff Floyd, Star Lotuleli, and Cordarelle Patterson fall pretty hard from where was expected. Guess I'm just trying to see who you guys think will fall into those categories this year. I think Anthony Barr is going to be a big draft day faller. He's already fallen from what looked like a top 5 pick or so. I think Taylor Lewan may take a little tumble, maybe even to our spot. For the obligatory DT faller, I have to go with Jerrigan. Maybe that isn't going out on a limb, but I feel like he's going to be there when we pick. The obvious riser is Aaron Donald. Could possibly be the Cowboys pick, if they sign Melton, could be the Bears guy. I think Zach Martin will be picked after Robinson and Matthews. Has a ton of versatility and some team will fall in love with that. Decent conversation now that FA is starting to slow a little.
akiliMVP
Falling: Johnny Manziel - projected top 5, falls out of top 10. CJ Mosley - projected top 15, falls to late 1st Kelvin Benjamin - projected mid to late 1st, falls out of 1st round Timmy Jernigan - projected mid 1st, falls to late 1st early 2nd. Rising: Derek Carr - projected late first, goes top 15 Brandin Cooks - projected late 1st/early 2nd, goes top 20 Marcus Martin - projected late 2nd, goes top

I think Kouandjio took a big hit with his potential medical issues as well. We would have been a first rounder bu I wouildn't be surpised to see him go round 3 or later now. Arthritis is going to scare a lot of teams away. I think RBs in general will also fall. There isn'y much interest in FA so maybe more teams will look to the draft, but how many teams need a legitimate starter where they'd draft a Hyde or Mason in Round 1 or 2 ? Tate just signed with Cle, so maybe MIA,NE, NYJ, TEN, ATL, ARZ? Those are the only teams I'd say might want a true #1 and I think they have bigger needs to fill. I don't think we see a RB in round one again, and the bulk will go in rounds 3+
Khatmandude
I think Roby will be a riser and as you mentioned....Barr to fall a bit. I think Dennard will also fall a little bit due to his lack of top speed. Manziel's tough to figure out. He's got 3rd Rd measureables but has something special about him, the 'it' factor. Haha.....I think he's a competitor who has been "babied" his whole life so he's got some quirks about him that rub people wrong initially.....we'll see. texbengal
I don't think Cyrus is gonna slide that much... The health issue is overblown from what I've read... He's still a first round guy, IMO, as a DJ Fluker type of road grader. And I think Johnny FB is a top 10, if not higher. I'm not a Lewan fan, but he's too athletic to fall out of the top 20. As far as guys rising: - Joel Bitonio could sneak into round 1 or early round 2 because of his versatility and athleticism - Brandin Cooks as the #3 WR, ahead of Marquise Lee - Ra'shede Hageman, more on potential Falling - Bridgewater out of top 5 - ordinary pro day, size concerns (frail frame) - Tommy Jernigan - great college player, great motor. Maybe limited upside - Kelvin Benjamin
spicoli
Report: Texans prefer Khalil Mack over Jadeveon Clowney Louis Ojeda Jr. The Houston Texans might not be deciding between a quarterback and defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. According to a report by Peter King of TheMMQB.com, a source close to Texans' general manager Rick Smith says they like Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack more than Clowney. Mack, a 6-foot-3, 251-pounder, was the 2013 MAC Defensive Player of the Year. He had 100 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, five forced fumbles and three interceptions during his senior season. If the Texans were to take him with the No. 1 overall pick, it would be the second consecutive year a player from the MAC was the top selection in the draft. Central Michigan's Eric Fisher went No. 1 in 2013 to the Kansas City Chiefs. This also wouldn't be the first time the Texans made a surprise move with the No. 1 overall pick. In 2006, many expected them to take Heisman Trophy-winning running back Reggie Bush or national champion Houston native quarterback Vince Young. But instead, the Texans selected defensive end Mario Williams as their top choice. http://msn.foxsports.com/southwest/story/report-texans-prefer-khalil-mack-over-jadeveon-clowney-042114

sparky151
Mack played great vs OSU but didn't have as much impact the rest of the season. Maybe he was just double teamed every snap in the MAC.
happyrid
Mack played great vs OSU but didn't have as much impact the rest of the season. Maybe he was just double teamed every snap in the MAC. Even vs. OSU, it was just a few splash plays. It wasn't like he was dominating every play. He beat LT Jack Mewhort for a sack once, which is impressive. He beat RT Taylor Decker for a sack (a true soph making his first ever start) and he got an INT where Braxton just threw it right to him. He was obviously good in the game, but it is being overblown.

Once he ran a 4.6 or whatever, I think he locked up a spot in the top 20.
