Who is NOT to blame??

Recommended Posts

Players, coaches, mgmt, etc... Who can you not lay the blame of this disgusting display of an NFL team on?

My list:

TJ
Kenny Watson
Bobby Williams
DeDe
Whitworth

Dhani
Michael Meyers
Chinedum
Geathers (got switched around, not his fault)

Brad St Louis
Kyle Larson

The custodial staff

Thats all I can think of... Anyone have people that fulfilled their end of the bargain that I forgot?

I know he has missed a couple kicks (all kickers do, so thats fine) but if I remember, one was a game winner/tie-er and he blew it.

If I'm wrong about that, then I would put him on the list too.

Who needs to hit the road...

1)Rudi - Lack of production or there of
2) Justin - Show me the money, no you show me the sacks or pressure
3) Deltha Oneil - He was a cancer and a bum when he came over from Denver, and he's a caner and a bum here
4) John Thornton - Has he been invisible this year or what
5) Dexter Jackson - He sucked in Tampa, and he sucks here, he needs to thak John Lynch for getting him paid after the SB
6) WR's 4-5-6, Hell Chris Henry did more than the three of them combined

And you can add more to it....

oops, I forgot Peko.

I wont include JonJo or Hall on my list just because they have been part of the problem (admittedly, the both are inexperienced, the scheme sucks, and the DLine gets no pressure).... But they are still part of the problem IMHO. Next year they should be better, unless the Bengal coaches "coach" them up more, then they will digress like everyone else.

deltha saying he wants to play more doesn't make him a cancer.

while i agree they have fucked up too much for my liking, i have to give them credit considering the zero pass rush we have had this year, but i agree they are borderline for this list

If you are remembering the preseason kick, then yes. Otherwise, he hasn't cost us any game this year, in my opinion. And he's still sitting in the top group of the league.

Shayne, naturally, has been money all year. He missed his first try of the year if I recall (long 53yd) but that was right after the injury that we all seemed to forget about after a few weeks. He missed another one a few weeks ago. But his percentage is super-high, and he's shortly going to set a franchise record for FGs in a season.

Ask him to keep working on kickoff distance for next year and we'll be all set!

go-bengals.com has spoken: Shayne may keep all his checks this year.

Yes -------- consistently short, flat kickoffs and all those squib kicks because of all those short, flat kickoffs.

He has 2 jobs not just 1. Job #1 he is money the other he sucks. In todays game you cannot afford a roster spot for a kick off specialist and he needs to improve in this area.

I think the weak ST coverage early in the year had a lot to do with the squibs and directional[?] kicks.

For the record...as some have pointed out...the short/squibs in the first half of season were coach ordered kicks due to coverage issues and a rotating ST unit.

His other kickoffs once injury was healed, are right in line with the other good kickers in the league. You won't get a kicker that will consistently lead in both categories. Take your pick what's more important.

Check out the stats for yourself.

Shayne Graham earned his paycheck and sjip;d have collected some of the money Wasted on Anderson, Rudi, Rucker, Bluto, Chris Perry and a host of others that contributed practically nothing to this team.......

This team is a mess.
All I see is 8-8 five years ago and the same damn record with alot of vets now 5 years older.

The Bengals have one of the best kicking games in the NFL. Because of weather kickoff's are always shorter in cold weather than in warm weather. Shayne,Kyle and Brad are golden in my book.

IMO, Brad is somewhere between Bronze and Silver. Far too many high snaps.

St Louis needs to go--he's had numerous high snaps this year. Thank god Larson was able to pull most of them down. We need to be looking for a new long snapper in 2008.

Hello...get with program. Can we talk about THIS year? here's your chance. I'm askin you to tell me why a kicker with a 90% kicking avg and no blown kicks doesn't deserve his paycheck.
