  1. Past hour
  2. No man, at least get something for him. I bet the Patriots or Panthers would take him.
  3. As all this goes on Katy sits in her office knowing both will play this year. Nothing has changed. Draft board stays the same.
  4. Reds win 7-4. Now 14-10. 1:15 game time tomorrow.
  5. Top 8th Reds up 6-4 Sutter in groundout K Popout Inn over no runs
  6. Today
  7. I'm sure the Bengals front office were not happy with the timing of this, the night before they go on the draft clock. It was unnecessary to announce this now, especially as they can't even extend Trey for 3 more months per NFL rules anyway. It also caused Tee's rat-faced agent Mulugheta to reiterate his demand for a trade as well, so now the media is running with the "2 Bengals stars both want out, what's wrong in Cincy?" narrative. 🙄
  8. Bottom 7. Reds up 5-4 (Crunch time) CES.........K Martini....single.. PR. Bubba.. TS ..........single...runner to 3rd. Candy......W.........based loaded Espanol....SF........run scores Fairchild...K Inn over..1 run
  9. I'm stunned...why now?? I don't understand this, he just signed an extension it feels like
  10. The Bengals controlled Browning's rights for the next 2 seasons exclusively, whether he liked it or not, as he is only counted as having played 1 year in the NFL (despite being in the league for several years). So they could have given him minimum deals the next 2 seasons, like an undrafted free agent and he would have to wait for each season to get that. Now, they have given him a 2 year contract, likely with a bump in pay (that they didn't need to do) and a little bonus, since he's made little in the NFL so far. He had to sign it, as he has no leverage at all. Basically, they gave him some security and more pay to keep him from being bitter about not getting to start for another team. And he accepted, as he realized he didn't have any other choice.
  11. I’ve been wondering if this signing makes it easier to trade him.
  12. If Browning feels he can be a starter somewhere, why would he sign this extension? It would seem he'd want to get out from Burrow's shadow ASAP. Someone explain.
  13. If he has another stellar year this year he deserves an extension and a raise I just hope this does not become a distraction
  14. But they can win the whining contest. Trey has 2 clear choices - make $29M for the next two years or make zero. Black meet white, grey has been dismissed.
  15. Yesterday
  16. Bottom 4 Reds down 2-1 Martini.....groundout TS............K Candy......W Espanol...single..2 on Fairchild... groundout Inn over no runs
  17. I'm in.. Chase and Jefferson is too good to be true..😊
  18. Yeah, on the open market Trey would get 25 a year instead of 15, but that pay difference exists all the time when a player takes the security of a longer term deal like Trey did. In a few years, Burrow will be underpaid as his deal reaches its last 2 years as well.
  19. Bottom 3rd 2-0 Phil's Benson....Home Run!! Elly ..........single...WP.. Steer........K CES..........groundout Inn over 1 run.
  20. Yikes! The Bengals can't even give him a new deal for 3 more months even if they wanted to. Trey needs to fire his agent. 🤡
  21. Top 3. Reds down 1-0 Lodolo W.....leadoff..😡 flyout double...run scores.. flyout flyout Inn over 1 run
  22. The retirement threat to me looks really bad on Trey, as that's like the 'nuclear option' in negotiations and makes the team not want to even listen to you after that. The idea that a 29 year old player who just had his best year would quit and make $0 rather than $15 million because he thinks he deserves $20 million is absurd. And if he wants to do the "I'll take my ball and go home" baby shit, then Duke should just laugh in his face.
  23. Perhaps. But as long as that old bald guy runs things, one never knows what he will do.
  24. Fair enough, but at this point you're assuming a lot of things based on feelings from how the Bengals did things 30+ years ago. I think the answer is a lot simpler than that.
  25. Trey: "You need to pay me more money or I'll just quit playing altogether." Mike: (leans forward slowly and whispers) "Did you forget who the fuck you're talking to?"
