  1. Today
  2. Players from the past used to get rid of their worthless Agent and get another. Like GO has shown, this guy is worthless in a sense of representing good players, he is in It for the money and has ripped off how teams who were suckers with the worthless players he has represented. How has nobody shown him this type of information on his agent? Does he work on the so called cheap so the player keeps more money? Florio talking about a Boss in power and in charge like it is a bad thing, like no other team does this is a joke in itself coming from him. No Owner is going to let an unknown Rookie take charge or power of anything. That is just ludicrous talk. I cannot believe I keep sticking up for the Brown family. I guess I am just sick of players who have not played a single down demand things. It used to be that way before as we know when the rookie guaranteed signing bonuses were getting too wild and way out of control so the CBA had to change. Now these Rookie Agents have found their next loophole to take advantage of or try to use against owners to get their way. I am like gupps, I as a fan for a very long time is just plain tired and frustrated with this BS. All I want is for this team to be ready for game one with their best players on the field. It gets to the point of when do I just finally walk away from caring anymore. I keep telling myself, this is the year to do it and then here I am again like the sucker I have been for Decades putting up with this BS. We have talked about this many times before and it really needs to be labeled a disease.
  3. Florio's latest ... Should Cincinnati Bengals rookie Shemar Stewart return to CFB _ Pro Football Talk _ NFL on NBC.mp4
  4. Stewart's agents look like they would be stealing hubcaps off cars if cars still had hubcaps. How could Stewart get involved with nickel and dime 50's juvenile delinquent throw backs like those?
  5. Fulcher should have gone in over Lapham in my opinion. I think Lapham's jacket was an issue of repaying a "faithful soldier" post career, more than for his time as a player.
  6. Yet Mims had no problem signing the very same participation agreement last year. And Knight also signed it this year. So I call BS on Florio who undoubtedly was fed that “information” by Stewart’s camp. It was a spite move, plain and simple. They talk about precedent as being important, but only when it suits THEM.
  7. Yesterday
  8. LOL. We lead the league is creating bad luck.
  9. I don’t think our team has earned the right to make extra demands for contracts. To me we should do what we did in the past and if we ever had any frigging sustained success then move to more contract demands.
  10. I dont doubt that each teams ring of honour looks more at overall team contribution versus the hall of fame attributes. Whyche as a coach should be considered for example. Maybe not the longevity but considered. Latham has been all Bengals since day 1 .
  11. Florio compared the Bengals participation agreement to several other teams and the Bengals version had more loopholes the team could take advantage of. Bengals are saying they want Stewart to accept contract language on defaults that other teams have but the team won't use similar language to other teams when it comes to practicing while still unsigned. Remember, the Bengals tried getting Mims to agree to the contract default language last year and dropped it when training camp started. Maybe they'll do the same this year with Stewart.
  12. Well deserved for Parrish. Lapham was obviously picked for his broadcasting career and that seems weird. As a player, does anyone think he was better than Montoya or Reimers or Kozerski?
  13. That's a good idea also..
  14. Well, he is an Aggie... But appreciate the info. All I heard was lack of technique, one move, overruns plays etc etc. Coachable stuff, but likely to need to work his way into a starting rotation. That aside I didn't hate the draft pick, but once again there's contract drama. Bad luck?
  15. I crack on the front office as much as anyone here, but Shemar Stewart came out of college with absolutely no character concerns. He was known at Texas A&M as a guy who loved to practice, lived in the gym lifting weights (body is like solid granite). In the lead up to the draft he impressed in interviews with his football knowledge, seemed fully engaged all of the time. Pretty much the anti-Shedeur Sanders. So has something changed since he got drafted? Maybe he should have chosen his representation a little better, maybe he has gotten bad advice since being drafted, etc. But there is zero reason to think Stewart is a character concern.
  16. If the NFL insists on Thursday Night Football, it is only appropriate that it becomes an official "Throwback" Thursday celebration
  17. And whatever 4 teams relocated most recently have their bye week 😆
  18. Should the NFL have a throwback weekend where all the teams were throwbacks. Or maybe an originals weekend where they all wear their original uniforms.
  19. IDK, but he sure is a Nice Guy that loves Cincinnati! Quick, someone get a photo of him rescuing a puppy out of a storm drain with a bag of Grippos!
  20. The one thing we can be certain of is that the Bengals FO are entirely blameless in all of these contract disputes. Chase, Higgins, Hendrickson, Stewart, Knight. So much bad luck! I don't know about you lot but my sympathies are with the billionaire nepo babies with a decades-long history of incompetence. They're trying their... well, maybe not their best, but someone's best, surely?
  21. Yeah the navy is 100x better than powder blue.
  22. Couldn't be the lack of a standard NFL scouting department. Something-something luck, something-something Walmart. My guess is the coaches get excited about some off-the-chart measurables and convince themselves they can fix him.
  23. I think those clowns were on the recent Netflix doc "Trainwreck: Woodstock 1999" sliding through shit outside the overflowing port-a-poopers.
