  1. Past hour
  2. Not ro bust his bubble but breaking his ankle is a red flag..
  3. The 4 new uniforms so far ... It's sad how badly these were botched (only the Jets were a slight improvement, minus their black)
  4. Agree. How many WRs that are extremely talented to produce in a High level with an opportunity in this draft? Endless folks..😎
  5. Today
  6. How do you think Thomas would start right away? I don't see it .. Plug and play is what they'll go for.
  7. Thomas wouldn't be a starter as Jamar and Tee would be ahead of him. Bowers may start but I don't see him as the generational talent a lot people say he will be and is not worth being picked at 18. I think Oline needs tons of help and need at least 2 picks in the first 3 rounds. Need a DT somewhere as well but pickings are slim for a NT. A WR in the 3rd round may not be a bad choice.
  8. Gut feelin right now is you may have their big board draftees . Looks strong..
  9. Agree.. Wouldn't be great to draft a big talent in rd1 for Pollack to work with? We have no depth Anywhere on the Oline....Scrubs actually. Murphy would give the dline another force up front in this run heavy division so I'm good with him. Katy has been burning late nite candles trying to resolve this .. Trick for sure but.. In Katy I Trust...
  10. I like Thomas a lot but I don't think he could start as a slot receiver this season. Great outside vertical threat but doesn't have anywhere near enough of a route tree right now imo. So that would mean Chase in the slot nearly all the time. Chase can certainly do it, but I'm not sure I'd want him to do it 80 percent of the time. But Thomas could definitely replace Higgins as an outside receiver in 2025. There are at least 5 slot or inside/outside WRs who the Bengals could take on Day 2 who could start immediately in Boyd's slot though. I different podcasts both Mike Potts and Steve Radicevic were pretty vague on positions and rounds in the draft...except for WR. They love the WR options in the 2nd and 3rd round. Would be shocked if the Bengals didn't draft a WR with one of those Day Three three picks.
  11. Yesterday
  12. We would be better served with a DT or OT at 18 and a WR later. I would not like at either though, I think any stretch pick , like a Barton at 18 would be puke worthy. Any pick that we could have traded back and still got is a puke pick for me. Or any QB lol.
  13. Why? Bowers or Brian Thomas would certainly be starters right off the bat and help the offense. We could address the O-line in round 2 and NT in round 3 or later. So taking a good offensive player should definitely be a possibility.
  14. Frazier would be a great pick at 49 if he is there. I would be shocked if he lasts that long but fingers crossed he does.
  15. A few players I really dont want but my top puke pick would be Brock Bowers. Second would be any WR.
  16. Anyone who won't be starting in 2024. We've had a couple of disappointing first round picks in 2022 and 2023. Let's not make it 3 years in a row. It's not as if our roster is so bullet proof we have locked in starters at every position. So a Quinyon Mitchell would be a better pick than a Byron Murphy or Johnny Newton for instance.
  17. My unrealistic wish list for pick 18 ... 1. Joe Alt 2. Malik Nabers 3. Brock Bowers My realistic wish list for pick 18 ... 1. Amarius Mims 2. Byron Murphy 3. Cooper DeJean 4. Troy Fautanu 5. Olu Fashanu 6. Graham Barton 7. Darius Robinson
  18. He is tough as nails… kinda like Braham was. He broke his leg or ankle (not sure which) and limped off the field on his own power, on one leg to avoid a 10-second runoff at a key point in a game. A wrestler, like Linderbaum was. Would be a great get on day 2.
  19. However unlikely it is, I'd love to snag Murphy @ #18 and miraculously find one of the RT's ranked above Morgan fall into our laps at #49. Another goal would be to come out of the draft with a RT and a IOL that could both be ready to be solid starters by 2025. If they keep all 10 picks (unlikely?) I'd be fine with an RT, a G/T and a C/G at some point. I'm not fond at all of our OL depth.
  20. They still have 3 TE's on the roster, Wilcox was a practice squad guy. Geiski, Sample, and Hudson will be the final 3 TE's that make the roster unless one of the guys suffer an injury, IMO.
  21. 1. Fuaga 2. Murphy 3. Bowers 4, Latham 5. Mims Need to protect Joe and really have to have a DT that is respectable vs. the run. Doubt Bowers id there (they all could be history by #18), but too good to pass up.
  22. Yeah, Frazier is an impressive prospect, hopefully, the Bengals can get him in the 2nd round.
  23. Nate Wiggins… talented guy but if they’re gonna go DB and Mitchell or DeJean are there, would prefer either.
  24. Spaulding (aka Jerry’s kid Stephen) pretty much said on their draft presser today that they are going OL in round one. May be a smokescreen but it’s pretty obvious they need help after losing 2 starters, plus Zack Martin isn’t getting any younger. They have Terrence Steele outside, plus Tyler Smith who has played both G and T well, so they have some position flex about which way to go. They could use some DL help, too, and at WR and LB. DeMarcus Lawrence has been great but he’s no kid, and they lost Dorrance Armstrong in FA and now that DC Dan Quinn is gone, not sure how they will use Parsons - more as a rusher or use him more as an off-ball LB. He’s worn down some when they rush him too much, as dominant a player as he’s been. He’s not a huge guy. Re OL in the draft, I’ve heard any combo of Mims, Guyton, Barton, Powers-Johnson, Fashanu… depends on who’s there when they pick. They don’t have a lot of equity to trade up and if anything, they may trade back to accumulate more picks. At RB, Brooks is a popular choice because of proximity, familiarity and need. But he’s coming off a tough injury and not sure how quick he will be able to contribute. I’ve heard Benson also, even Blake Corum. They still have got a good roster but there are more cracks in it than before… which is why I think they’ll likely trade back unless there’s a can’t miss value at 24. Barton may be that guy, not sure, but they have done well drafting the OL and he fits a lot of what they look for.
