Another Chris Perry thread

Recommended Posts

Sorry to start another thread, but I know it was assumed that he would start the season on the PUP because he needed some more time to recover and we had another RB in Irons so we didnt need to rush perry back.

My question is now that our need for Perry is a little greater, any chance we dont PUP him and he comes back maybe like week 3-5 or something? Its tough to determine the exact week he was going to return 2 months ago when Marvin said that we would PUP him, theres no way that he knew he would be ready week 6, he had to figure somewhere around weeks 3-7. So what do you guys think?

Why not have both?

Yep. Blend 'em up with a couple raw eggs and you have Vick's "Rocky Balboa" version of an energy drink...with enough bone splinters left over to pick the cartiliage out of your teeth to boot....

good thread, aside from the retards who would rather make "witty" "jokes" than actually discuss it. if perry is likely ready by week 3-4 i say he doesnt hit the PUP, i think they expect him out the first 2-3 weeks, so they figured with the stock pile at RB, why not pup him and give more evaluation time, but not anymore, a roster spot is all but waiting for him.

all depends on his progress by week 1. thats when the decision must be made.

Perry has not participated in any off season workuts and hasn't come
close to seeing the practice field. Even if somehow he was miraculously cleared
to play by week 3 or 4, I doubt he'd be in any kind of football shape, thus limiting
his effectiveness.

Nope, I dont know him personally. Just figured that because of the broken fibula that has rendered
him not ready to play, has kept him from running at full speed and stopping and cutting on a dime.

But, Im sure you know more than me about these kind of things, so if you say he'll be good to go then he'll probably be good
to go.
