MichaelWeston
Given the above options who would you want? My theory is that it is always good to get someone to play the position who can start in a pinch and may have some upside to develop into a long term starter. 1. Driskel is the in house candidate. Signed through next year. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/jeff-driskel?id=2555262 2. Hundley was with the Seahawks last year. The Packers traded up for him when Van Pelt was the QBs coach. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/brett-hundley?id=2552588 3. Mannion was the backup in LA the last 2 years. The Rams drafted him in the 3rd round. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/sean-mannion?id=2552576 4. Tannehill is likely to be released after years of starting. membengal
A rookie drafted in the first four rounds would be my choice.

I think that's too much of a wildcard to poll out right now. if it happened I wouldn't complain.
PatternMaster
Give me Tyree Jackson in the draft or Tannehill
|SF2|
Tannehill without a doubt. Not out of the question. We can probably get him reasonably cheap I would think. He isn't getting $18.75 mil that is for sure.
thezerawkid
Hundley seems to have untapped upside... Tannehill could step in and be competent immediately. Either could push Andy in camp. Draft Murray.

T-Dub
Whoever is cheapest and then a draft pick next year to develop. I don't realistically see any way this season is going to hinge on our backup QB. At the same time, our OL is going to be green at best so there's a very high chance the QB2 is going to make some starts. It'd be good if they don't outright suck like Driskell but how much do we want to invest in possibly making some meaningless late-season games a little more watchable? Le Tigre
Mannion was wonderful at Oregon State. Has the goods.

We’ve had arguably two seasons where the outcomes were effected by late season Dalton injuries.

Right, on playoff-caliber teams. This ain't that.
