Smith is supposed to be back at practice today. Dehner had a piece today quoting Pollack on how good everyone looked.

We should sign Cam Erving. He's cheap and experienced if not very good. That's still an upgrade from Carman or Smith.

I know we all want Cartman cut but do we still have D’ante Smith (sp) in camp ? He and Chris Evans have been ghosts

I think Chris Evans was in on a couple of snaps in the last game and on  special teams.

Well,  nearly everyone. Not much praise for Cartman. A lot of “he is working on things” and a laundry list of these things. All things he should have fixed years ago but clearly he lacks motivation.

Yep, I LOL'd reading it. Pollack pretty much mentioned pretty much any quality a T needs to have as things he's working on. I get that he's got some issues (I think he's lost whatever confidence he had and he's totally lost focus), but we've seen him play a few good games too.

But he's skating on thin ice now, for sure, just to claim even a backup spot.

I'm more concerned about these joint practices with other teams.

Too much danger of someone getting injured by some goon trying to

impress their coaches and made the team at our expense.

Conspiracy Theory Bengal from the old board (not me) would say this is the

reason for Mims's torn tit injury holding him out a couple weeks.

Huge linemen such as Mims tend to use their long arms to slow a rusher if beaten.

Regardless of his strength it can sometimes lead to a bicep or labrum tear from the force..
