Why not, at this point sitting out his is only leverage so why not use

 

If the Bengals think they can win without Chase then I don't see the problem

I think Ja'Marr sees the Chiefs game as something personal.

Here's something we haven't discussed about Ja'Marr's situation.  If he sits out into the 

regular season, will he be on the sidelines or up in the owner's box or even around period?

If it goes into week 2, do they allow him to get on the plane with the other players or tell him to stay home?

I think I'd tell him to stay home period.  Nip it in the bud before it becomes even MORE of a distraction.

 

Apparently Jefferson himself think Chase should be on the field in game 1 regardless of a deal or not.
