Most peoples reaction when they heard he was dead was "who?". We didn't exactly lose McKellen or Hopkins here. But hey. He's got the dead-person thing going on. He'll get the Oscar for what he might have achieved in the future, not for what he actually achieved in his life. There'll be lots of "how sad just as he was getting going as an actor" speeches and highlights of his time as the Joker and almost bugger-all else. Let's conveniently forget he was a druggie who killed himself. Oh how fucking tragic. In other news the film rocks hard. It's probably my second favourite Batman film after the first Burton one. VB[/quote] you couldnt be more wrong. he was far from just getting going and he was far from unknown. before he died he was one of the best actors in hollywood. he was hired for this role because of his ability and the amount of time he dedicates to perfect his roles. and he probably wont win an oscar but he sure as fuck deserves it based on what he is going against right now.
