-GoBengals- Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 this is beyond ridiclous... he had two coaches who MAY be interviewing else where with zamp and fitz, so yes.. there is a chance things will be changing.. he doesnt fucking know if they will or not, thats not under his control if they take other jobs or get interviews, etc.. and yes, the offseason is your opportunity to revise things.. they havent revised things yet, its fucking january, he has CLEARLY fucking stated they are going to make changes in philosophy and other things, he isnt going to share details of shit with fans and media, why would he? who does this? why ignore his quotes: "i will fix us" and "No excuses," he said. "Just find a way. Whatever it takes." and nit pick over something so trivial.. what crazy world are you living in where you are digging under these rocks trying to find something to nit pick over? i am completely lost with this type of mentality.... thoughts? i think you are trying really hard to find something to complain about... I agree with you really but I can also understand why people are so anxious to see [i]some[/i] sign of these changes we keep hearing about. Anything at all.. Fans are desperate for a glimmer of hope. It does sound like Chad is for sure gone. I think if they work out a trade for him that'd do wonders. Again, they can't do much of anything other than coaching changes without a CBA so I'm not holding my breath. There's a lot more to this offseason (potentially) than talk, though. Moving Chad would be huge in itself. There's a good chance the staff is going to get shaken up one way or another. Assuming some kind of CBA gets done - and that seems less likely every day - but if it does, there will be a flurry of activity in its wake. It does seem like they're making a last-ditch effort to work it out before the season ends. It's not that I'm all pissed that nothing has happened yet. So ok, but.. If nothing really is going to happen, it's probably not a good idea for the head coach to keep talking about shaking things up. That does kinda raise expectations. And, y'know, this IS a Bengals forum so until something does happen, or the draft at least, speculation is about all you're going to see around here. I have hobbies but I don't come here to discuss what books I'm reading or the kickass new level for Left for Dead 2. I come here to vent my frustrations at having to watch the slimy asshole Jets and dirty god damn dickweed Stoolers compete for an AFC title while we wonder whether or not Marvin & Brad porn-'stache Childress had a look at the dessert cart. If the team does have any intentions of moving in another direction, it sure would be more fun to speculate on how that will work out than it is to lament that the teased changes are taking forever to become realized.
