He has some elite speed, I'm talking 4.2/40 type of speed...but he has no shot of making the roster over our current group of players. Abiline had some speedsters with Gates, Johnny Knox, and B Scott. No wonder they went undefeated a few years ago.

Greg's main problem is his height, dude is barely 5'9". If he were a few inches taller he would be a starter in the NFL.

TRUTH. We had home room together. I'm 5'8" on a good day and he was a shade taller. Nicest guy on the earth. Mean as shit on the field though.

I'm thinking interior OL and RB are the 2 positions to follow cuts the closest.

I think we'd like to upgrade from Hudson at backup OG.

I also think with Scott's injury, we may be looking for a 4th RB upgrade from Peerman. He's great on special teams, but if Scott misses time, not sure they trust either Peerman or Leonard as backup RBs who they want to give a bunch of carries to.

Dan Koppen released from the Pats. I would have guessed we'd pick him up before we signed Faine but there may not be room now.

Don't think we could make room? I don't think any of our backup interior OL are guys I'd shed a tear if they got released...

Give me Koppen over Hudson and co. all day

I like Koppen, too. He's an upgrade over Otis for sure. Versatile, smart, tough guy. He will get a job somewhere.

My guess is someone like Koppen comes down to how they want the roster shaped. Do they think Hudson is still developing or has he peaked? Is Koppen a short term solution at the expense of long term? I think he'd be a good depth pickup and potential starter if Faine struggles. I'm just guessing they don't want 2 old guys that will only be here 1 year.

Saw the Dolphins cut rookie Jeff Fuller, I really like this kid's potential. Great size and speed combo, if we can get him on the ps that would be awesome!!!!

Rotoworld does a good of keeping up with the daily transactions of the NFL...http://www.rotoworld.../nfl/all/today/

I liked him pre-draft, but the fact that he was cut by his college coach in a system he already knew speaks volumes.

However, at what price (figuratively speaking) do we get Koppen. He would be another older guy on the roster. I think Faine would be the starting C and Koppen would be the backup C/G. I only say that because Faine will be more comfortable with our scheme from the get go.

probably more of a question of can Koppen backup guard and would he be a better backup than Hudson?

Why? I assume there's no way you drafted Slaton. If you have a Shanahan RB, you were already guaranteed the headache.
Thats what I meant. Redskins RBs are completely undraftable already and then he trades for Slaton

The Names on the list im interested in thus far are:

Brandon Washington, Marvin McNutt, Cody Grimm, Dan Koppen.

Grimm not because he's overly talented but because the depth at S scares me quite a bit. He has experience but has to prove he can escape the injury bug.

Yup, no point in ever drafting one of his RB's. The guy that goes undrafted has just as good of a chance to have a solid year. Then you guess every game to figure out who starts. Makes FF much easier if you just avoid the situation.

Lance Dunbar, Cowboys RB who looked really good in preseason released. Would be an interesting guy to grab as our #4.

As for the Redskins RBs in fantasy, it depends on the depth of your league. I'm in a 14 teamer with 23 man rosters and any RB with even a slight chance of getting some starts is a guy you want to grab off of waivers. I've grabbed both Alfred Morris (2 weeks ago) and Steve Slaton (today).
