[/quote] I guess it doesn't have to be the case, but most teams keep 5. Some keep 4 and some keep 6. It's extremely rare for any team to keep 7. Especially a team like the Bengals who will keep 3 TEs, a FB and at least 3 RBs, most likely 4. Even if we kept only 2 QBs, we'd be looking at 17 roster spots just for the skill positions on offense, which is really high. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[/quote] Seven is really too many, plus WR is almost the only healthy position group on the team. I don't really think there'll still be seven WRs on the team on opening day. They also have to keep Kyle Cook on the 53 until Tuesday if they're going to use that special IR spot on him. That would mean Cook, Robinson, the 5 starters, plus Collins would be 8.
