Oh, I defintiely agree that the league is trending young. But I'm not even sure rebuilding teams like St. Louis. which also had a ton of draft picks in 2012, will have 11 guys with zero NFL experience on the 53 man roster. That's a ton.

Well a rule of thumb being that with 7 draft picks plus the odd CFA, you figure even a veteran team will have 5 or 6. More if they got comp picks from losing FAs. A rebuilding team would have and keep more, because their vets are bad or won't be around when the team gets good.

If you figure the average NFL career is 5 years, then you turn over 10 players per year.

My guess is it's becomes an even split once Moch comes back. I'd be willing to bet Whalen is either traded or released when Moch returns.

Everything pretty close to expected.

I'd have guessed no Whalen and that they'd have kept Muck. That would have given them the 25/25 split offense to defense they usually go with.

But when Cook is IR'd it'll get them down to 25 on O and open up a spot, possibly for a LB. Though I'd have my money on it being an OG.

That or somebody will get hurt. Chances are that in the next month, at least one guy ends up on IR.

In my opinion, Skuta would be the backup to Maualuga before Burfict. The Skuta's versatility is what made Muck expendable.
