Trade McCarron for high 2nd round pick (Cleveland, SF, Chicago???)

Re-sign Whit, Lafell, Kirkpatrick

Draft:

1. LB Reuben Foster, Alabama

2a. C Ethan Pocic, LSU

2b. DE Harold Landry, Boston College

3. WR Malachi Dupre, LSU

3 (comp). K Daniel Carson, Auburn

4. G/T Erik Magnuson, Michigan

5. RB Jamaal Wiliams, BYU

I don't know enough about the later rounds but they probably wont make the team

I think getting a high 2 for AJMac might be wishful thinking a little.  It's not impossible, but I think a high 3 is more likely.

Like the re-signs.

1. He's my guy right now.

2a. I'm happy.

2b - See above.

3. I like it.

3c. I think we get comps in 4 rather than 3, but I do want Carlson.

4. Personally I want a big body, Bobby Williams type at RG, but that's just me.

5. Don't know much about him, but he was productive at BYU.

Its been said we were offered a 2nd and a 4th last offseason.

By Hue in Cleveland?  He might be willing to since he knows him.  But I REALLY don't see Mike Brown trading with Cleveland.

Id sign Jeremy Kerley, Connor Barwin and Greg Zeurelin.

Re-Sign a bunch

Burkhead, Peerman, LaFell, Whit, Johnson, Zeitler, Winston, Kirkpatrick and maybe Gillberry.

Focus the early draft on the OL and the front 7. Probably the first 3 picks are DE-LB-T.

Draft a midround RB and C.

Offer McCarron but if you get no big return then keep him another year.

Bet one of those later rounds is a PK

Especially if we get comps in 4 I'd take Carlson with our 4.

I just listened to a podcast featuring Lapham for an hour and he said straight up that they were offered a 2 and 4 last year and countered with a 1 and 4, which the unnamed team turned down....if I had to guess, I'd say it was Houston or Denver that made the offer.....either way, I'd say there's a pretty good chance we could get a 2 and a 4 this year at worst with the possibility of a 2 and 3....also, if you read the article on .com right now, McCarron sure sounds like a guy that knows he's on his way out of here.

Yeah, I did see that.  I just hope this means they are happy with Driskel, and not that they plan on drafting another QB.

What podcast

Lapham and Lance McAlister do a 3 hour show on Monday night on 700 after each Bengals game.

I heard that That Lampham said that it's probably either Zeitler or Whitworth. Despite the difference in age I think its obvious that you have to re-sign Whit.

yeah he said that on the podcast.....also said "better re-sign Whit"

no idea on the itunes.

Pocic IMO is too tall for Dalton....6'7" center will be tough for him.

I like Elflein for this reason.

Then I guess we should let Whit go too.

They have more than enough money to resign both and should do just that. The Bengals will have over $40 million in cap space this offseason, they can find enough money to go around for both players. Zeitler and Whit are our two most consistent players on the oline not re-signing them both is a clear message this franchise isn't serious about winning.

I do like Taco and Ethan as our first two picks, Taco would be a good draft pick at #9 and Ethan is probably the best interior olineman in the draft. This team needs pass rush and offensive line talent in a big way.
