Idea: Shut down Burrow until after the Bye?

I say you start Browning and see what happens.  At least he’s mobile.  If it’s a disaster, you re-assess.  They’re going nowhere with Burrow playing like this.

Exactly, they can either lose some games and risk their MVP QB's long term health, or they can just lose some games. 

 

Expecting JB to hard-carry the team on his back every year while getting pummeled was never a viable long term strategy anyway. Get him healthy and let the OL hopefully "gel" or whatever needs to happen with them in the meantime.

Can he play and should he play are different questions. The exact ones a head coach gets paid big money to determine.

Have we checked the electrolytes on the Body Armor drinks? Maybe the calf issue is dehydration?

Still has to deal with the injury which he's tweaking each week as the competitor he is ..

 

I don't want to see his achilles tendon pop due to overload.
