Trent it is.

Fine, let Mims heal to 100%

No real surprised about Trent, as soon as Mimms went down that was decided imo. Give the rookie time to fully heal and get back into regular practicing.

^ I'm going to trust that Duke isn't dumb enough to test Ja'Marr's resolve (he sat out an entire year at LSU when Burrow left) and that they get a deal done this week

There's no reason to let this linger throughout the season and derail this team that can win 14+ games and win the Super Bowl.

Even though i was a relatively minor injury for Mims, I knew it would cost him the starting job that every beat writer said that he was earning with his play. But because Mims was never named the starter or got a chance to get established in that role, he will probably be a backup all year unless TBrown or OBrown suffer an injury. Offensive line is not a rotational position. TBrown would have to be horrible to get replaced since the coaches all love continuity with the line.

I can't see Mims being backup All Year.

Your right about continuity ( even when they're bad) .

I don't want him to sit and sit.

He's got to much talent for sitting

I wont be surprised if Brown has back issues again and Mimms is the starter before the end of the season, even if Brown heals up.

Could happen.

It's just a shame that Mims needs someone to get hurt before he will get another shot at being the starter. I don't like Mims on the sidelines not getting snaps he needs to reach his potential. Playing in games would only accelerate his development.

I'm sure he will share time with Brown once he is practicing again.

Offensive line is not a rotational position. Healthy OL like Volson and JWilliams played 100% of the offensive snaps last season.

Yes

Because...

We had Noone to replace them with.

Why can't it be rotational to keep

Trent fresh?

Nothing should be set in stone .
