|High School Harry| Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 "'ey! What's all this laying around shit?" ~ Bluto Blutarski Where is everyone? Hope all survived New Year's Eve and are washing extra strength aspirin down with Alka Seltzer this morning. I rang in the New Year by falling asleep on the couch at 10:00 watching "Bookie" on Max. Early dinner at Ivory House, only decent restaurant on the West Side. Excellent meal but tiny portions. And both restrooms were marked "For Either Gender" (no kidding) which gave pause. As far as "Bookie", stars Sebastian Maniscalco. and highly recommended for all on here. Happy New Year and Happy 2025 Draft and 2025 Bengals season which will end with a Super Bowl win and well deserved rings for Joe, Ja'Marr, Tee, et al! 4 Quote
Lawshark13 Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 Happy New Year Harry! Ready to move on from the annus horribilis and looking forward to good things in 2025! Perhaps this weekend will be the start and a minor miracle occurs...we blow the Squeelers off the field, Wentz pantses the Donkeys and Miami beaches themselves... 2 Quote

I think they could re-negotiate Hubbard - when healthy he would be an excellent rotational guy, just not the main guy any longer. Give him the option (we did this with Nixon I believe the yera before we traded him?) 1 Quote

That money goes to re-signing our great pair of receivers. Quote
I_C_Deadpeople Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 I think they will have trouble with cutting Hubbard, being the local boy and all. Right move cap wise but they may not want to do it. Quote

He's great at blitzing but can't cover most receivers, which is a problem for a cornerback. CeeDee Lamb gives lots of DBs problems but his TD vs Hilton was embarrassing for Mike. My guess is Dax Hill will be the slot corner next year and I'm fine with that. 1 Quote
