WOW :o

Dear God I hope not, he runs the ball even less than Brat does and he has a good back in Ducket.

I meant I like guys that love to throw the ball...now whether that helps us win or not Im not entirely sure. I think with an offense like our the pass opens up the run unlike normal offenses where the run opens up the pass.

Thats just the fan in me though that wants to see carson throw for 400 yards and 4 tds a game, I think that is a lot more exciting then watching a rb run for 200 yards.

Sorry I must have missed something, who is henderson?

We already have a guy that likes to throw the ball.

People complain that we dont run enough and we'd get even less of it with Martz.

Ive just never really liked brats play calling. I feel like he will throw the ball 5 times in a row one drive, then on the next drive run the ball up the gut three times and get a three and out, like one drive today.

I want someone who mixes the calls up better then brat does.

If we are to replace Brat, which I'm not opposed to I would suggest a promotion from within....Zampese. He's going to land an O Coordinator job within another year or so, and he knows CP better than anyone. He would certainly inject some life into the offense.

He gets my vote.

Detroit's lack of a running game had more to do with the o-line than the scheme from what I have seen. Their o-line sucks.

I'd take that, too... or Hue Jackson, if/when he comes available.

Hue Jackson is one of those guys that will make a much better coach than coordinator. I think coaching is much more suited to his skill set.

As an OC he isn't very good.

How do you know he'd "inject" life into the offense? How do you know he'll even be as good as
Brat for that matter?
He's never been an OC.....we have NO IDEA what his offensive philosophies are....
I'd counter his 'knowing" Palmer by saying that Carson was at his best when Kitna was here rather than Zampese coaching him...
Dont judge Zampese because of his name and I think thats the case with alot of fans..

Ok and you'd hate Martz even more, all he does in throw it (figurativly).

He had Ducket who started 1 game but had a 5.2 Avg for 335

Tatum Bell who started 5 games and had a 4.1 Avg for 182 yards (http://www.nfl.com/players/tatumbell/profile?id=BEL598152)

and Kevin Jones who started 3.8 for 531

between the three of them they ran the ball for 262 times (they also had some scrubs run the ball too, but not much) for a total of 1048 (what your starting RB should get at least even in a passing O)

the bengals top 3 of Rudi, Watson and Dorsey

Rudi had a 2.9 YPC for 497 yards
Watson had a 4.3 YPC for 763 yards
Dorsey had a 8.7 YPC for 183 yards

Betwen the bengals top 3 they had 1443 yards running the ball 369 times

It would be a mistake to bring in Martz who ran the ball less and had better talent from a YPC point of view. (at least in his top 2 RBs, but as little as dorsey ran I'd say his average would go down some if he got the ball more)

Isnt it Zamp's job to have Carson ready? Why would he be deserving of a promotion after the season Carson had?
