But they traded for Cromartie from San Diego didn't they? Seems pretty extreme to pick another CB

If you want to win the AFC you have to beat the Colts.

I loved watching him at florida. If we needed a QB I would love the chance to have him on our side.
Not buying it, even with his new release. It still seems slow to me and good luck finding those wide open WR in the NFL like he had in florida. Not saying he won't carve a niche on the broncos roster, but I doubt he ever lives up to being a first round pick.

Well, if that's so they still have may have a pick saved from the trade downs, or if not, they saved a bunch of money. And they have a few years grace from the fans for a team that is rebuilding itself

It also opens the gates for Gilyard as pick in Rd 2 if he's still there.

I'm thinking it'll be a defensive player in round 2.

Yes there was. A TE that filled our needs could have been gotten in the later rounds. When have we ever thrown to a TE? Does Bob know what that means?

We needed defense and oline before a TE. This was a luxury pick....I sure hope it pans out...

But we won't be picking there!
and i could argue the needs we have on defense (safety) can be addressed just as well or even better in a very deep safety draft and once again, the same would apply to guard. bulaga would have certainly been nice, but with the top 2 true guards off the board, who would we have drafted that would have equaled a good value? why not take the value with asamoah or mike johnson later?

please don't tell me your bung is hurt over not selecting taylor mays. not picking him was the best move we could have and DID make.

we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

The Jets are gonna be really good..

If only Sanchez was fairly decent.
I'm no so certain about the Jets, it seems like every time a team goes out and roethlisbergers free agency, they almost always don't meet expectations. Look at the redskins and the yankees that fell short of the title for 10 years until last year.

I think the jets are trying to fix something that wasn't broken in the first place.

Hmmm... Will the Browns have the ball-sack to take another Irish QB or put a weaker-armed Colt McCoy in swirling-wind Cleveland??
In their place I'd live with Jake for at least a year. One disaster at a time, they need some players elsewhere.
