Bengals1181
The Cowboys have gotten the 24th pick under wraps.
Dez Bryant deal is done Posted by Mike Florio on July 22, 2010 6:47 PM ET The Dallas Cowboys have announced that receiver Dez Bryant has agreed to terms. And, yes, the e-mail from the Cowboys came through just as we were posting the blurb about the strong indications that the deal is done. As a result, agent Eugene Parker represented the last guy to sign in 2009 (receiver Michael Cratbree), and he represented the first guy to sign in 2010. UPDATE: Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the contract covers five years, with a base value of $11.8 million and $8.5 million guaranteed. As often has been the case, the actual numbers could be a bit softer.

BengalRep85-9
McCoy also signed with the browns and got almost $2M more than slotted for the "QB premium". Hope that doesn't complicate things with Shipley. Shouldn't really, but you never know.
defend your comments dink. you said be like everyone else... looks like everyone else has holdouts too.. andre is the only player who got less than the slot, everyone else got normal slotted pay, pollack held out for more garaunteed money, which bit the bengals in the ass, obviously the agents and palyers want the most money overall and the most money garaunteed, bengals arent going to pay more than they think is fair (apparently half the league feels the same way, eh?) no one is right, no one is wrong, both want whts best for them.. tell me.. which of these guys should the bengals have "caved" and given whatever they wanted? Chris perry? (never got healthy, neither parties fault, bengals paid many millions for a few hundreds yards - bengals fucked) Andre Smith? ( got hurt immediately, did nothing so far - jury still out) Rivers? solid guy, not worth a raise, fairly paid, no? pollack? played well, got hurt a year in, never palyed again.. bengals fucked. leon hall? solid palyer, about to get a new deal, paid fairly. so bengals FUCKED 40% of the time, the draft is a gamble, a few days of camp means little in the scheme of a palyers career, missing a week of camp is a LOT for a rookie, but he hasnt missed any time, and there is no sign that he will.. you are bitching over something that isnt happening... and its not just "shitty bengals drafting" the whole league is a crap shoot, apparently half the league agrees, hell the fucking NFL agrees which is why we are headed towards a rookie pool to get the shit in check.. the fucking cry over shit thats not even going on piss and moan shit is sure as fuck getting old... your only response is "OMG THE NUTHUGGERS CONVENTION" really? really? ignoring pages of facts and proof that your comments were ignorant as fuck, and going with "NUTHUGGER CONVENTION!!1111" give me a fucking break. bengaled
if the miles of words i've typed on this subject didn't change your POV, one iota, it wouldn't make much sense going down that road again. for all of your 5 years of bengal fandom you've felt the way you do. for the many holdouts i've endured, and believe me there have been a ton during the bengals' existence, i've felt different from your pro management approach. nothing i type would change that, nothing anyone types here would change that. you know that as well as i do. to try would be an effort in futility. you can lead a horse to water, you can't make him drink. hurry football! TheBeaverHunter
I think given our track record for impact players getting hurt in preseason we shouldn't sign him (or Shipley) until the season starts.
