On Dalton's second interception, it looked like a miscommunication between him and Simpson. Simpson seemed to hesitate on his route slightly and that ruined the timing of the play.

I think Dalton played a pretty good game today though and neither interception was totally on him.

Looked like Simpson ran a lazy route.

The pass to Caldwell was definitely too high.

Timmons was just in the right spot and made a good play.

I posted this last week:

From STATS LLC,

Nate Clements:

Targets: 55
Completions: 23
Yards 299
TDs 2
YPA 5.43

Leon Hall:

Targets: 36
Completions: 21
Yards 300
TDs 2
YPA 8.33

Fouts made a good point on the replay. Andy was leading him and Jerome just pulled up. Had he ran through it would have been a completion or PI. Simpson looked disinterested today.

I got the impression that Simpson thought he was supposed to sit down in the zone, while Dalton thought he was going to run through it. I think it was more of a miscommunication thing.

football 101 question here.........what is a stinger?
A Stinger is literally a trauma to your nervous system from blunt force that pinches a nerve. I had one once, and it literally feels like half of you is on fire. And you lose strength/mobility. Can be temporary, but can last as well...

Definition: A burner, also called a stinger, is a common injury in contact sports, especially football. The exact mechanism of the injury is not well understood, but a burner is thought to be due to either stretch or compression, or a combination of both, of the brachial plexus. The brachial plexus is a network of nerves that has just exited the spinal cord. These nerves travel across the shoulder and into the arm. Symptoms of a burner are sudden pain and tingling extending from the neck and down the arm into the fingers.

Most often burners are transient injuries, but they can be serious if they are persistent or recurrent. If a player has recurrent burners, he or she should be removed from competition until evaluated by a physician.

Also Known As: Stinger

fwiw, Dalton just said he never saw the corner, who jumped the route for the pick.

It's a term that teams use instead of concussion, in order to prevent any questions as to why their player didn't have to pass the concussion tests before playing again.

Palmer always took the blame for INTs too.

I don't expect Dalton to say anything other than it was on him.

By the way, Simpson had as many catches and yards as DeSean Jackson did today.

Hopefully Adam Jones is ready next week. He is more than capable of filling in if Leon misses time. If he misses more than a week we might need to sign someone.
