ChicagoBengal
The EU also claimed that female Steelers fans prevent masturbation, although there is evidence to lend credence to their claim.

|Bunghole|
I've always wondered about the wisdom of trying to collate a set of very distinct cultures in a very small (compared to the USA) geographical area, commonize their currency and try despite the cultural hurdles to make them more homogenized like the states are here in the USA. I don't think its working nor was it ever going to work, although this article may or may not have anything to do with that. I will say that this is a New World Order, and I am currently blinded by "a thousand points of light". I would stop staring at those beautiful lights leading the way, but it "wouldn't be prudent". CincyInDC
The EU was formed with the dream of no more wars between member states. That bit is working as planned so far, but if Greece doesn't get its shit together, they may need to start planting trees along their boulevards, as German soldiers prefer to march in the shade (see: France). In Bavaria, beer is Lebensmittel (foodstuff), and you are permitted to drink while on the job. Unfortunately, I just can't bring myself to do it unless it's been a really tough day or we head to a Biergarten for lunch or it's a day of the week that ends in "-day."
