bengaled
You don't have correct information about the Browns game you can't make that charge without evidence to back it up. do you? if so, i'd like to see it. if not, shut the hell up. Went to see a specialist after the game. You have no amount second hand information that beats that. In addition Lap and Marvin misled the public on other injuries that season. HairOnFire
Went to see a specialist after the game. You have no amount second hand information that beats that.Gresham returned the practice the following day.Seems obvious the specialist told Gresham it was okay to play, thereby confirming what Gresham had been told by the Bengals medical staff.Of course none of this will mean anything to you because you don't want it to mean anything. You've got too much internet pride to admit the obvious. |SF2|
That's not much of a reasonActually, it's an excellent reason which makes me scratch my head as to why we didn't get one in FA.
T-Dub
Actually, it's an excellent reason which makes me scratch my head as to why we didn't get one in FA. Having a roster spot open means we need a TE. Unless something happened overnight and Gresham is the only TE left on Earth this makes about as much sense as saying Kate Upton should have a drink with you because she's single. Le Tigre
Well, there is still Ryan Hewitt.

Nothing you posted makes a lick of sense. Gresham is an FA and it seems obvious to me we are not going to sign him. Therefore, I believe we should have picked up one of the numerous FA TEs but didnt. Am missing something here?

Seemed to me scharm in his infinite wisdom was suggesting we should sign Gresham because we have the roster space. I maintain that this is not a compelling argument. happyrid
Interesting part of a quote from Marvin about Gresham today: He’s a man of many, many, many, many, many, many, many moods. Also, I'm starting to think Gresham is going to end up back in Cincinnati. I won't be real pleased with that development but I'm not seeing any other great FA options out there either. Hopefully they at least wait until after the draft and only go back to Gresham if they can't land a decent rookie option.

He had his chance last year to pull his head out of his ass and those are basically his words. He didnt.
