August 1, 20222 yr comment_1674972 Apparently Watson needed "fair warning" not to rub his dick on 24 women ... (How is a guy supposed to know?) 🤨
August 1, 20222 yr comment_1674974 She admits in her finding that his conduct is "more egregious than any before reviewed by the NFL" but then only gives him 6 games. 🤯
August 1, 20222 yr comment_1674975 None of the women who testified against Watson in the investigation said he forced them to do anything. Only 4 women cooperated with the NFL's investigation and their stories were about him exposing himself, asking for sex, or ejaculating during or after a massage. I doubt he's their only client who has done that.
August 1, 20222 yr comment_1674976 He’s a monster and should never be allowed to play a down in the nfl

It's like the "independent doctors" that are on the NFL payroll discussing "concussion-like symptoms" before sending the guy back on the field 10 minutes later. You know what causes "concussion-like symptoms" on a football field? Concussions. End of list.

This would be "non-violent", but you still think the NFL punishment should be 6 games? Many of them also said they were afraid and froze up as he would begin jerking off onto them. They were likely in shock. But this shouldn't be an excuse of "no force used".

August 1, 20222 yr comment_1675001 1 hour ago, sparky151 said: Either side can appeal the 6 game suspension. Watson and the union have said they would accept whatever the judge handed out. The league can appeal it to Roger Goodell but has to decide within 3 days. That's also the day of the HoF game in Canton. I'd guess the league will appeal and Roger will increase the suspension. The whole thing is mainly driven by PR. Watson has settled all but 1 of the civil cases against him, including the first woman who came forward. Two grand juries declined to indict him for anything. Watson's lawyer has bungled this from the beginning, but his client will be on the football field this season. What little will be needed. If everyone says "great, we're done here", there will be some brief wailing and gnashing of teeth in the media, but quickly forgotten by the mentioned HOF Game. Little or nothing will be brought up at the start of the season--other than the occasional "QBX playing in place of the absent/missing/suspended DeShaun Watson". Perhaps some mention of misdeeds, but immediately papered over. John Q. AverageFan in anyplace but Cleveland will not give a tinker's damn about the lot of it. And the league/union/media will happily let it die on the vine. But, just wait until Halloween Night in Cleveland...no there will not be any mention of the wrongdoing, just a glorious oorah with the return of this "great quarterback" and the incessant him versus our guy. The issue will be so dead by then, that will be doubtful any bad things will be brought up at all.

The cases against Watson were presented to 2 different grand juries who said they didn't even meet the probable cause standard to indict, let alone the beyond reasonable doubt standard to convict. Watson has settled all but one of the cases against him, though likely for far more than it would have taken a year ago. He received terrible legal advice. But he was also on the receiving end of a campaign of vilification by the opposing attorney, which has largely been successful.

August 2, 20222 yr comment_1675028 ^ Haslam's use of "triggered" ... Playing off the whole 'safe space for libtards with purple hair' cultural critique is really out of line. They need to fire their publicist. This isn't about "cancel culture", this is about your organization giving a sexual predator who is unsafe to leave in a room alone with women the largest contact ever. Fucking idiots.
August 2, 20222 yr comment_1675030 💩 Trash fans. Shameful franchise. Disgusting city. Throw it all in the putrid flaming Lake ...

August 2, 20222 yr comment_1675055 Announcing the Dolphins will lose their first round pick the day after the Watson decision The Dolphins owner will be "suspended" (whatever the fuck that means when you own the team) for the exact same number of games as Watson. For maybe talking to Tom Brady when it wasn't his turn or possibly maybe throwing games. Same suspension as jacking off on unsuspecting women. 6 games. I'd say the NFL is the most corrupt governing body in pro sports but they're all kind of equally trash.
