It’s called the “Blindside” for a reason. A movie didn’t make the left side any more important than it already was. 
 

Right tackles—or the men who played the position a lot—have had some notable players. Ron Yary comes to mind instantly. 
 

The HoF isn’t specific as to right/left splits. Great tackles make it. I’m sure Willie will get his shot too…eventually.
