If the Bengals valued Tee they would re-sign him to a long term deal, they clearly don't. His agent is doing his job, getting the most money possible for his client...if you had an skill set that required you to have an agent you would want an agent just like the one Tee has. If you want to be a mad at someone, look at the Bengals front office for not paying Tee what the market will give him. From a player's perspective, they have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get as much money as they can so having an agent that maximizes that opportunity makes sense. NFL franchises find ways to pay the players they want to keep, if your favorite team isn't paying for your favorite player you should be angry at the team for being cheap, not the player for wanting to get paid for his services or the agent for doing his job. David Mulugheta is looking out for the players by getting them something every other pro sports league has, fully guaranteed contracts and maximizing their earning potential. NFL franchises make billions of dollars every year, but most of the players play on contracts that allow them to be cut for a fraction of what they agreed to, that is a broken system that needs to change for the betterment of the players and Mulugheta is leading the charge to do that. He's not screwing over his clients by convincing them to take team-friendly deals that favor the multi-billion dollar organization in hopes that he will be able to do business with them in the future as some agents do. He's acting as a fiduciary and putting his client's financial future first because he knows that one team will eventually pay and ultimately the more money you can make by playing in the NFL the better. They get to pay these players what they would get on the open market without the player having the ability to go where he wants to go or to whom will pay him the most amount of money...if you were in the same situation as Tee Higgins you would do the same thing if you were smart and had a good agent. Also, how is he throwing a tantrum, he's asking to be traded to a team that wants to give him a long-term deal...does that make him a child...wtf is Paul Dehner talking about...the Cincy sports media is a weird bunch. I would rather see the Drew Samples of the NFL get 4 million instead of 3, than a few average QBs all get 50 million and WR/DE all get 35. An irrational free agent bidding war is bad for the second tier players as it causes the first tier to hoard all the cap.
