Looks that way. Is BUF out of a chance for #1 Seed?

Yes. KC will likely play their 2s against Den, which should secure Den the final spot even if we beat them this week.

KC rotates a lot of guys as it is…so even their 2’s are seasoned. If Kermit doesn’t play, they still have Carson Wentz…who isn’t bad.

Happy Boxing Day! Today at Anfield, close to relegation Leicester might be thinking the same way!

4 pts clear, w/a game in hand. Would be a great start to the morning if Fulham could nick a point off of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Thoroughly enjoying the dumpster fire that currently IS Citeh.

After the lame viewing options we had yesterday, it will be nice to get to watch the men in Red this afternoon.

Fulham is a rather scrappy lot. They have had a nice transformation since promotion. Won’t say the Chavs have been doing it totally smoke/mirrors…but they are no juggernaut either.

The Cheaters’ demise has been delightful.

It’s the High Holy Day for English footy! Enjoy!

Former Bengals Dickhead Joe Mixon gets in Christmas Day scuffle

It’s always fun to check in on former Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon.

Not only is the discourse amongst fans about Mixon always interesting, he usually has a shot or two to take at the team and how things ended in Cincinnati.

Mixon made some headlines during the national Christmas Day games before kickoff though — for getting in a scuffle before his Houston Texans took on the Baltimore Ravens.

For whatever reason, Mixon got into it with Ravens players during warmups and social media accounts suggested it went on for several minutes.

During the game itself, Mixon ran for just 26 yards on nine carries in a 31-2 loss.

One account of the altercations:

KC may not play dinged up starters, but healthy starters will surely play. The Chiefs are in it to win it. They never their feet off the pedal. Plus they have the bye. That's their week to rest. I think the Chiefs will beat the Broncos regardless of who plays.

The Bengals biggest problem, aside from winning their last two games, is somehow getting both the Colts and Dolphins to lose one of their last last games against bottom-barrel opponents. That seems like too much to ask.

And I can attest that Josh Johnson is a super nice guy when he was with the Bengals at training camp he took a photo with my son who was 7 at the time he was very classy don't miss Mixon at all that's for sure neither from a personal or talent standpoint

Gee, if only there had been some red flags before we drafted the guy...

The Colts haven't won 3 in a row all year, for them to not drop one now they would have to win 3 in a row.

Miami is hard to say.

Both teams play shitty schedules so I tend to agree.

Speaking of IND and MIA easy schedules, there is more feast-or-famine in the league this year than in any season I can remember. We have 15-1, 13-2, 13-2, 12-3, and 12-3 on the top end and five teams at 3-12 and one at 2-13 on the bottom end. There are a lot of really bad teams.

I was just thinking this morning that, when factoring in the first-round bye, they would be “resting” their starters for 18 days. That is way too much time to be sitting starters—unless, as you said, somebody is hurt.

It's not because of the cap..😎

Their are some truly horrible franchises in the league by way of management.

Maybe but do you think they risk their guys getting hurt in what would be a meaningless game for them? I'm not so sure.

Like I said, if somebody is dinged, no. But 18 days is a long time to not have any activity other than practice.

There’s examples pro and con for sitting starters. I’m surmising that their situation will be more of a hybrid: a 2 who plays in a rotation might be first out of the box, but the starter would spell him. I definitely think Kermit would play…but for how long, who knows?

The other part of this is that for the most part the seeding is already locked in.

KC has the 1

The Bills are 2 ahead of the Rats who only have 1 left to play so the Bills have the 2

The Rats are 2 ahead of the Texans and have a win over them so they hold the 3

The Texans by virtue of winning the division hold the 4

The Steelers hold the 5 with wins over the Chargers and Broncos, with one game left even if they lost to us, they would hold the tiebreaker over the Chargers

The Chargers hold the tie breaker over the Broncos and us, but not the Dolphins, thus hold the 6

The Broncos don't hold tiebreakers over any of the teams above them, so they would be the 7 if they get in, the Dolphins would be the 6 if they sneak in with a win over the Chargers pushing the Chargers down to 7, if we sneak in the best we can hope for is the 7

Pretty sure it's almost completely locked down who is getting what spot.

After the Christmas Day cluster fucks...

Stuff like Prickins interrupting an interview with a (not so) subtle "sign me" moment,

Lemer and Henry too good to do the cake eating thing in their interview

and just the general cheap shot thuggishness throughout the season(s)

even further solidifies in my mind what a classless bunch of arrogant cheap shot  bitches both these mobs are.

Seriously.

Fuck 'em both.
