Remember this was after 10 days to prepare. Everyone knew Pitt was shitty, offense was horrible….proceeded to give up 450+ yds….how? To Kenny Pickett and Najee Harris? Lolololololol5 points

That’s WITH Chase, Higgins, Boyd, Mixon etc…. He still can’t do anything against NFL defenses without Burrow. Simply incapable.4 points

Can we sign Burfict for the next match against these assholes?4 points

Fuck the NFL with Burrow in it too. Can’t tolerate the blatant fixing of games anymore.3 points

Well, guys, not sure how often I’ll be around here for the rest of this season. The officiating shit-show that is the NFL is just too hard to watch. I have enough frustrating stuff in my life to add things over which I have no control. Thanks for making being a Bengals fan more enjoyable. 🦗3 points

I think the shutdown was complete on the last stealer TD when the flag for an obvious hold was picked up. Defense had to figure out that that was the end of the game…3 points

Burrow is basically Lebron James carrying the Cavs to the Finals3 points

And nobody including Zac Taylor himself thinks he’ll be able to game plan around offensive limitations. If Zac Taylor doesn’t have Burrow, he’s a bottom 5 coach, offensive mind, game planner and play caller.3 points

How does a defense allow shitty ass Najee Harris to have a 100 yd day with a TD? This defense allowed shitty ass Pittsburgh almost 450 yards of offense. Lololol. I bet they don’t crack 300 again this year until the next Bengals game. Defense is absolutely horrible.3 points

The real issue there is the stubborn loyalty to players like Carman or Hart. I suspect the lack of scouts not only leads to bad picks but makes the coaches doing the scouting overinvested. They don't want to admit they whiffed on the pick so they keep trying to polish a turd well past the point other teams wouldve moved on.3 points

Well, then the other option is they are terrible and the very bad Stealer offense just kicked them in the teeth at home. I am good with either.2 points

If I am Tee Higgins I would consider sitting out the rest of the season ... (could be what he's doing already) With a contract or tag coming up, no reason to hurt your value or get injured with Browning throwing you the ball.2 points

Tigerjaw and I are in the Joe Goodberry chat. I am adamant that Browning wasn't the key to the loss. I am the minority. D and scheme in my mind.2 points

What they needed to do, that even a HS coach can identify, is a deep ball on the first drive. Complete or incomplete doesn’t matter. What it does though is force the defense to cover that part of the field which they weren’t doing at all. No respect to the bengals offense without burrow. Because NFL coaches can see even more clearly that Zac Taylor is completely and utterly incompetent as an offensive mind. You see the proof via the defenses they choose to play vs bengals.2 points

If Browning is the quarterback for the rest of the way, I can’t see us winning another game this year2 points

News flash...football is dangerous and causes injuries to the players.... Also, the Harbaugh Brothers are douche bags, now back to your regularly scheduled programming...2 points

That dumb Browning pick deep in Stealers territory was a boig part of the momentum shift in the game.1 point

Burrow should be the first QB to win MVP while on the injury list ... How much more proof do you need that he is the most valuable player on any team, in any sport, in any era ... he carried these teams to the SB and AFC Championship, and without him they might not beat Alabama/Georgia etc.1 point

Their defense is currently ranked, near the bottom of the league. If some team is stupid enough to hire him.Good riddance.1 point

Ideally, Bengals lose every game the rest of the year. That gives highest draft pick. This team was going nowhere with or without Burrow this year. Just wasn’t going to happen with this defense. Maybe the worst defense in the NFL.1 point

Pretty hard to justify spending 3 hours watching this garbage. I turned down tickets for today as well. Thinking football at all levels is over this season.1 point

Jeezus H fucking christ that was the most obvious hold in the history of the NFL and they pick up the flag? I guess "the gambling" needed some TLC...1 point

Nice stop by the D. Now let’s run it down their goddam throats!1 point

Yeah, unfortunately there are very few teams with this much receiver talent and one of them is usually on a rookie contract like Waddle in Miami. Just can’t afford the trade off from an overall talent perspective.1 point

It's not uncommon for a team to tag and trade a top player so they don't get away for nothing. Davante Adams was tagged by the Packers before being traded to the Raiders for instance. The Bengals should certainly be willing to tag Tee as the tag number will probably be less than his market value and they don't have a similarly good player on hand to replace him. There are plenty of teams that could use Tee as their WR1 and have the cap space to sign him to a long term deal. The sequence would be a team meets the Bengals asking price, then negotiates a deal with Tee. The Bengals should feel free to ask for mid first round value. Teams drafting higher than that will probably like their chances with a rookie, who will be much cheaper. But Tee is obviously better than players like Ebuka, Worthy, Franklin, Corley, etc who will go late first and onward. It helps if we trade him to a team whose coach and GM are trying to save their jobs with more wins in 2024. And if no trade partners appear, having Tee around for another year is still a good thing for the Bengals.1 point
