True leader. Already contacted a fellow draftmate.

+ He already talked to Shipley as well and got all the phone #'s of the QB's and WR's to organize some practices together. One of the draft gurus who watched him at the combine described him as an "Alpha male" who automatically takes leadership over other guys. That will be a nice addition, after having the lawn ornament Palmer back there.

Thanks.

+ By not spending the 12 million on Carson & 6 million on Chad, enough $ will be freed up to sign Joseph & Benson & maybe even sign a big FA like Mankins.

Well I guess Carson's brother Jordan has a GB account.

By the way Jordan, your "run pee" app idea is idiotic, I hope you get cut soon, and tell your brother to grow a pair.

:good2:

Nepotism is never a good idea.

For all we know, ...Carson may be thinking he's turning the team over to his brother if he leaves.

Sorry, the haters are gonna come out in droves over this but, I like that first clip after the announcement. He goes back and fires one to #85 in the end zone. That's what I'm hoping to see in stripes this season. I hope Chad doesn't get traded. Although, I can understand that he could be a bitch with a rookie QB.

I still contend that much of Carson's errancies come as much or more from his receivers ad libbing than him.
And, imo, his complete lack of faith in his oline

Whether we think they're "closer to top 10 than bottom 10" or not, it looked pretty clear to me that Carson didn't trust them

"I can't tell you how much Aaron Rodgers I see in Andy Dalton. They have tremendously quick releases, they can throw from multiple foot platforms, meaning they can be off balance, very aggressive by nature, they can extend the play, and they understand the value of a completion. I think that's one of the biggest things in evaluating a quarterback that goes unnoticed is which guys understand the value of completing the football. It doesn't have to be glamorous all the time but they're going to get a completion, they're going to move the chains and they're going to get completions in the biggest moments of games. That's what I see with Andy Dalton. If there's one guy in this draft — if I was coaching — that I would want to coach, it's Andy Dalton."

— Trent Dilfer, ESPN

* ironically, Marvin won a Superbowl ring with Dilfer at QB.

And I contend that if you go back and watch the film he made horrible decisions often. Blame game is a two way street
