[img]http://www.inquisitr.com/wp-content/2012/03/colorado-wildfire-2012-conifer-lower-north-fork.jpg[/img] 900 homes evacuated, 1 found dead so far.. shits no joke.... smells like a bon fire at my house... from 70 miles away... ash falling outside a little bit... is that ash from someones house? rocky mountain forest? crazy to think about.. I didn't see any fire... but I was talking to a lady beside me on the plane who lived in Denver. As we were landing and taxiing she was showing me how you could barely see the mountains because of the smoke. The pictures in this thread are some scary stuff... Be careful [/quote] all year is a drought here... 16-17" percipitation annually its SOOO dry... woke up today, 14% humidity in my house...oh and now over 30,000 people have been evacuated from the springs.. -GoBengals- Posted June 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 28, 2012 crazy huge fire in russia... the waldo canyon fire isnt the biggest one here, the one up in ft collins is WAY bigger, but its not near any people at all, the one in the springs is big news because hundreds of homes have burnt down already, sub divisions, not just woodland mountain homes, and 30,000 people evacuated... googling the one in russia im not seeing that, i googled russia fire evacuation and articles from 2010 are coming up. people i worked with have been evacuated, this is one of the sub divisions.. -GoBengals- Posted June 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 28, 2012 there are eleven total fires here according to the news.. there is a chance of a small amount of rain tonight, we had a tiny amount yesterday and dropped temp and 35% humidity levels, so thats helping slow the spread, progress is being made... big rains tonight would be very very helpful, but they arent expecting much..
