While I'd like to see him at his natural position, he seems like the kind of player who will be able to really bring it wherever he plays. I'm a little nervous about him not only having to start prematurely, but also out of position, but I have high hopes for him and I think he'll get it worked out quickly. If Burfict starts, good for him - guess we will see how accurate you guys who say he's the best guy they have at LB, beast in waiting, etc. are - you got your wish. For starters, I hope he plays disciplined football - which he seemed to this preseason, but certainly didn't at Arizona State. Next man up! Should be fun to watch. If Burfict does not start, he will be in almost immediately after the start. He shouldn't have tweeted game information like that and so he has to be held accountable by not starting perhaps. I don't like that he's starting at WLB. He gets people lined up just fine, as we have consistently been told. I hope it is temporary. Or I hope he tears it up either way. I am excited to see this... while a little anxious as well. I don't want him to fail, like others we have had. I, and so many of us, want to believe that he is the force we have needed since Odell tragically departed the game. Hell, I'd still kick the old tires on Odell to see what's up.
