oldschooler
meant to ask earlier, what do people think of the end of The Walking Dead
I'm thinking its got to be swine flu that killed Patrick right? Then once dead he turns, and will now infect/kill other members of the prison.

It's definitely the ebola virus, it makes you bleed out of your orifices - that's why they kept focusing on that one zombie that was bleeding out of his eyes. Then the kid died bleeding out of everywhere. There were a bunch of signs about a widespread infection - Daryl licking his fingers before he shook the sick kid's hand (then continuing to eat), the sick kid cooking food for the whole camp, then him sputtering his sick juices all into the water supply
Good stuff. That was my thoughts. Ecspecially after watching The Talking Dead afterwards. By the way, I was floored to find out the nerd kid is the voice of Phineas from Phineas and Ferb. I get the impression it's waterborne. Both of those can cause nosebleed & hemorrhaging iirc. Or it could be something they just made up on the spot. Pretty sure it's in the water, though. T-Dub
I thought they made it pretty clear it came from the boar/pig.

Could be.. I thought it was just the first to come down with whatever-it-is, like the canary in the coal mine. There was a lot of attention being paid to the water supply with the camera work. They also spent a lot of time showing new chick getting splattered when they were clearing the fence. She even looked down at her hands a couple of times like "well this isn't sanitary at all." My money's still on bacteria rather than virus.

Bengals1181
I continue to be blown away by the performance of Robbie Kay as Peter Pan on Once Upon A Time. He just turned 18 so he's not technically a kid anymore (but was when it filmed), but its one of the best young actor performances I can remember. Bengals1181
did anyone watch the SNL spoof of the "What's the Fox Say?" music video? I watched the SNL one before the real one. It may be the first time I can ever recall thinking that the spoof video should be the real video, and the real video should have been the spoof video. The real (original) video is just an abomination of a song.

Go Skins
yep, very good episode. I avoided the tease for next week, but people on ew.com are arguing over the timeline of the last 2 minutes. Lily breaking glasses was pretty funny and then telling her Linus is slacking. I suppose it could contradict the trilogy watching episode, but I'd have to check.

Bengals1181
Look at this: http://ted-mosby.com/season-9-episode-8-the-lighthouse/ interesting, and true, but I'm kinda "who cares". I dunno, obviously its a mistake, but I don't think continuity mistakes in comedies are a huge deal. Dramas sure, but a comedy it just doesn't bug me much. Bengals1181
BURBANK, Calif., Nov. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) and Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) today announced an unprecedented deal for Marvel TV to bring multiple original series of live-action adventures of four of Marvel's most popular characters exclusively to the world's leading Internet TV Network beginning in 2015. This pioneering agreement calls for Marvel to develop four serialized programs leading to a miniseries programming event. (Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20101014/SF81638LOGO) (Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20131107/SF12525LOGO-a) (Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20131107/SF12525LOGO-b) Led by a series focused on "Daredevil," followed by "Jessica Jones," "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage," the epic will unfold over multiple years of original programming, taking Netflix members deep into the gritty world of heroes and villains of Hell's Kitchen, New York. Netflix has committed to a minimum of four, thirteen episodes series and a culminating Marvel's "The Defenders" mini-series event that reimagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters. Produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Television Studios, this groundbreaking deal is Marvel's most ambitious foray yet into live-action TV storytelling. "This deal is unparalleled in its scope and size, and reinforces our commitment to deliver Marvel's brand, content and characters across all platforms of storytelling. Netflix offers an incredible platform for the kind of rich storytelling that is Marvel's specialty," said Alan Fine, President of Marvel Entertainment. "This serialized epic expands the narrative possibilities of on-demand television and gives fans the flexibility to immerse themselves how and when they want in what's sure to be a thrilling and engaging adventure." "Marvel's movies, such as 'Iron Man' and Marvel's 'The Avengers', are huge favorites on our service around the world. Like Disney, Marvel is a known and loved brand that travels," said Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos. "With 'House of Cards' and our other original series, we have pioneered new approaches to storytelling and to global distribution and we're thrilled to be working with Disney and Marvel to take our brand of television to new levels with a creative project of this magnitude." This new original TV deal follows last year's landmark movie distribution deal through which, beginning with 2016 theatrically released feature films, Netflix will be the exclusive U.S. subscription television service for first-run, live-action and animated movies from the Walt Disney Studios, including titles from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Disneynature and Lucasfilm. Netflix members can currently enjoy a wide range of Disney, ABC TV and Disney Channel films and shows across the 41 countries where Netflix operates. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/disneys-marvel-and-netflix-join-forces-to-develop-historic-four-series-epic-plus-a-miniseries-event-based-on-renowned-marvel-characters-230981101.html
