October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167858 4-0 Reds after only 10 outs, and a no-hitter with 4 K's through 3 for Arroyo. Lordy!
October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167861 Heh, not only did Stubbs beat that throw, but the Giant SS pulled his foot off 2nd before he caught it from the 2Bman - technically both runners should've been safe. But at least Stubbs' speediness allowed Arroyo to bat - back to the top of the lineup in the 5th.
October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167862 Only an 8 hour drive from SF and these cunts show the NY\BAL game...

The umps allow the SS to cheat a little bit to protect themselves from the runner sliding in.

I'm not one to say I'd take a baseball to the face, but shouldn't you at least look like you are sliding into second base.

October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167874 Coming into this series you would have thought we were facing Cy Young and Nolan Ryan. We've knocked both of them out early. Can't say I expected it, but I sure as hell am liking it.
October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167876 That was a bullcrap call. I don't think he was still on the bag when he caught the baseball.
October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167905 The way things are going, we won't see Chapman tonight. But either way, it's possible that we won't be hearing that lame "M-V-P!" chant any more this season.
October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167913 Good old fashion butt whopping going on tonight. Excellent outing by Arroyo tonight.
October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167916
Excellent outing by Arroyo tonight.
In my mind, it's the best outing by Arroyo I have ever seen. I have never seen him have such command and movement on his pitches like we saw tonight. Dude was ridiculous. He has never pitched better wearing a Reds uniform.
October 8, 201212 yr comment_1167917 Best all around game of the year for the reds...only better pitching performance was the no hitter, but that was a 1-0 final not 9-0. Offense, defense, pitching just domination. Hope to see a sweep in person on Tuesday!!!
