ESPN - Bills to acquire WR Mike Williams from Buccaneers for 6th-round pick in May's draft - Source

Kind of interesting since Doug Marrone kicked Williams off the team at Syracuse - he "quit" the team but that was after being suspended.

Supremely talented, but a big knucklehead...

49ers Colin Kaepernick, Seahawks Ricardo Lockette investigated in alleged sexual assault

10:25 a.m.] The Sacramento Bees Matt Barrows reported via Twitter that Kaepernicks teammate Quinton Patton and Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette are also involved in the investigation, while the Miami Herald reported the investigation stems from an incident at the Viceroy Hotel on April

Thursday was not full of good news for Colin Kaepernick, as his name was connected with a sexual assault information report with the City of Miami Police Department.

The news first surfaced via TMZ.com, who cited law enforcement sources that told them Kaepernick was being investigated for a possible sexual assault.

A Miami police spokesperson told CBSSports.com that police are following up on an information report that involves the 49ers quarterback.

In that report, a copy of which was obtained by CBSSports.com, a woman, whose name is redacted, states that on April 1, she went to the apartment of Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette, who played for the 49ers in 2012. At the apartment were Kaepernick and 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton.

The woman states that the group "talked for a while and she mixed some drinks for all of them and gave them shots." The woman states "they told her in order to drink the shots she had to 'hit' the bong which contained marijuana."

The woman states she "started to feel lightheaded and went to a bedroom to lay down." She says she "took off her jacket and jewelry" at which point "Mr. Kaepernick came behind her into the bedroom and started kissing her."

She "advised that Mr. Kaepernick started to undressed [sic] her" and that "she got completely naked."

At that point she claims Kaepernick left the bedroom and that "they did not have sex." At that point in time, the woman claims Patton and Lockette "peeked" into the room and she yelled "What are you doing? Where's Colin? Get out!"

The woman says they closed the door and left but she cannot remember anything after that. She says she woke up in a hospital bed but doesn't know how she got there.

The woman acknowledged a prior sexual history with Kaepernick.

It could be semantics, as Miami Chief of Police Manuel Orosa said the department is investigating.

"There was an incident and we are investigating," Orosa told the Miami Herald.

"The 49ers organization is aware of the recent media report regarding Colin Kaepernick and is in the process of gathering the pertinent facts," the 49ers said in a statement.

We'll have more on this story as it develops.

She's not claiming anyone had sex with her. The police will run a rape kit and get DNA samples from the men present. But apart from allegations of drug use (which might lead to a drug test but also might not) the players will say they were concerned about her and took her to the hospital.

I think all drug testing under the CBA is supposed to be random and if the players aren't already in the program, it's once a year. I don't think the commissioner can order the players to take a drug test under the personal conduct policy.

For some teams, this has been a busy offseason, full of major moves and mega spending.

Others, like the Cincinnati Bengals, haven't made quite as big a free agency splash. But they, too, have still addressed personnel needs that should get them spending well within the cap limit, and putting on the field players they believe will make their clubs better.

While the NFL has not yet released the 2014 regular-season schedule, we do already have an idea of who the Bengals will be playing and where. They have inter-conference matchups with the NFC South this fall, as well as games with the AFC South and fellow 2013 AFC division winners Denver and New England. The final six games on the schedule will comprise the traditional home and road tilts against the rest of the AFC North.

The league's full schedule with dates and times is expected to be announced later this month.

In the meantime, let's take a quick look back at some of the moves that defined the offseason for the Bengals' 2014 opponents. We began Thursday with the teams on the Bengals' home slate. The Friday breakdown dissected Cincinnati's road opponents. Saturday's explores the rest of the AFC North.
