|High School Harry|
We had a qb on the field that wasn't experienced enough to deal with that sort of situation. We had coaches on the sidelines who did not call plays to take advantage of it.

UncleEarl
We had a qb on the field that wasn't experienced enough to deal with that sort of situation. Not good enough QB. Every team should stack the box against McCarron and dare him to throw downfield. Sure he's accurrate on 5-10 yard routes, but his deep balls leave a lot to be desired. He was a game manager at Alabama and that's what he is now. He doesn't have the balls to sling it.
Arkansas Bengal
Players said before the game that this was a Playoff Game. Sure looked like it...we fucking lost--AGAIN!Fuck Nugent - his miss changed the momentum of the gameFuck Hue for not continuing to be agressive with AJ the second half and coaching like a little bitchFuck Marvin for playing 'not to lose' instead of 'to win'Fuck AJ Green for giving up on the long pass in the end zone and failing to block on screen playsFuck Huber for punting into the end zone instead of pinning them inside the 10 yard lineFuck Tate (as usual) for being the WORST kick returner in the leagueFuck the stealers (on general principle)
saphead
I'm so fucking discouraged I should just go to bed but mentally tough teams win games like these and it all starts with the head coach. Soft as fuck.

Nugent changed everything you Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNot happy with the conservative playcalling in the third quarter, but you didn't expect the Bengals to dominate the game for 4 quarters did you? They were going to face some adversity one way or another. Nugent misses too much for my tastes, but to blame it all on him isn't right. The Bengals had plenty of chances to score in the second half, but stunk up the joint on offense.
BengalRep85-9
The nugent miss was the beginning of the end. Anyone over the age of 7 knew what was coming. The miss, plus the ensuing halftime Denver adjustments, were going to be too much to overcome. |High School Harry|
Fire MarvinHe stood there on the sidelines in the first half watching several helmet-to-helmet hits on his players and didn't say a thing to the refs. Probably would not have changed anything but the refs would have been aware of it and I think the players would have appreciated knowing he had their backs. He just STANDS there with his arms folded.Even though Kubiac could not challenge a call in OT, he called a time out and plead his case to the refs and got them to look again at the non-fumble/fumble. WWMD? What Would Marvin Do? Fucking NOTHING.Almost looks like they took the opening kick off and scored and tried to sit on the lead for the next 3 1/2 quarters. RhodeIslandFan
We had them on the ropes and had them thinking we was a different team from the past. The second Nugent missed that field goal. Denver started thinking Bungals and hope blossomed. Game over. Andy and Nugent ain't got it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

oldschooler
A message I just got from a non-Bengals fan ... I thought it was a great effort considering everything in their face. The Broncos were desperate as hell.Anyone who watched that knows who the better team is. Especially with a QB that was making his 2nd start. All that matters is the playoffs and there's not really a team better in the AFC than the Bengals.Got some nice film to learn from and grow from and come the playoffs they'll be better for it

AmishBengalFan
It sucks, but there's a tiny silver lining to the loss.... Denver's win eliminates all but one of Pittsburgh's lifelines. They ONLY get in now with a win and a Jets loss. There was another Steeeler playoff scenario involving the Broncos that just got taken off the table. And we can still be #2. We don't even have to win.

Quit blaming Marvin Lewis for everything. We went to overtime with a 5th round draft pick quarterback against the best defense in the nfl and held a lead for most of the game.Hue Jackson's bullshit conservative as Fuck third quarter didn't help, but that's not necessarily on Marvin.McCarron lost this game by missing a perfectly acceptable snap. SocalBengalEd
We can't put the blame on a damn kicker. Yes he sucks but after the miss Marvin Lewis stood on the sidelines like a fucking statue. What great coaching is he doing. I don't get it. How many times and years are we going go thru this. The Bucs were a perennial playoff team with Dungey after theyfired him Gruden won them the superbowl. It's time for a change. Unless we are satisfied losing in the first round every fucking Year.
