Winning this regular season game, in my opinion, is almost like the team shedding the postseason drought in the Lewis era. The upside is that good. A bye week. Definitely a step towards the goal. My biggest hopes:1) If things are not going well, the coaching staff has clock awareness and makes the big adjustments when there is still enough time for coming back, but there's not enough time to have anything to lose by doing so.2) If things are going well, keep that pedal to the metal and force Denver to make the risky adjustments before even thinking of stopping what's working.3) Please don't try to protect a fourth quarter lead with a prevent defense, unless it's in the last 30 seconds.I love this team. Nothing would tickle me more than to see them succeed. One great thing about tonight is no matter how it plays out, there is the comfort of knowing it's not sudden death.
