spicoli
Every draft for the last 5 years has been loaded with WRs. This year isn’t unique.

And half of the " can't miss WRs" end up as John Ross. It's a coin flip. Tee is a sure thing for a team who can't take the risk. 2

True of every position in the draft, which is why good teams try not to count on draft picks to start at key roster spots unless they're meant to be a franchise QB.

This year's WR crop is decidedly better than last year's group.

sparky151
Besides WR, this is a good draft for OTs and QBs. It's ok for CBs and below average for D-line, TEs, LBs, and RBs. Overall this isn't a deep draft as NIL money kept more underclassmen in college than usual.

This draft is going to be QBs from Williams to Penix. Maybe 6 of them in first 15 picks. Olineman and pass rushers next Bengals should be able to land a top pick if it falls as said..
JC
Yep - could be Latu. Think that neck injury he had could scare teams away and he’s older. Going to be quite a few good names sitting around at our spot if the quarterbacks keep flying up the board.

Your overall point still stands.
sparky151
Why on earth would the Bengals draft Latu? Hendrickson and Hubbard are under contract for 2 more years and the team will have to make the 5th year option decision on Murphy while he's just a rotational guy.
JC
Might have something to do with the fact that they had 44 sacks and ~40% of them came from one guy.

Doubt they go that route. Gimme Olinemen gimme corners. Gimme Shelter!

It is the easiest position to draft.
