It's Matt Lee who is 6'4, 295 lbs. It's just everyone looks small next to Mims. 💪🏾🐻

Holy shit.  It's not even that he's a big dude, it's more like a different system of measurement.

I really hope this guy can play NFL football & stay healthy.

Yeah, if Mims stays healthy through the summer he will probably get so many reps and snaps in training camp and exhibition games than any other offensive player. maybe more than any other player on the entire roster, period. Only way to get Mims the experience he needs, and I would think the team would take it easy with the Brown bookends this summer.

Maurice Smith and Jason DeLoach at Pro Football Focus were tasked with finding an interesting stat for each first-round pick this year and found this on Mims:

Mims is the only FBS offensive tackle in the PFF College era with 350-plus pass-block snaps played and zero sacks or QB hits allowed.

A to Z Sports film room and NFL Draft analyst James Foster called his shot on a recent episode of The Football Room podcast, claiming Bengals' first-round pick Amarius Mims has the best chance of becoming a Hall of Famer from the 2024 draft class.

"There are just very few holes to pick in his game. He needs to speed up his reaction with inside counters, and that's about it. He doesn't lose to speed rushes. He doesn't lose to bull rushes; he's good in the run game. He's athletic, he's one of the biggest offensive tackles in NFL history. He has all the natural talent to be a Hall of Fame caliber tackle."

I assume that's a career total for Mims? Dawand Jones allowed some sacks and hits during his career but his final season at OSU he played more than 400 pass blocking snaps without allowing a sack or QB hit.

Yes, that was for the entire college career of Mims.

Only about 405 pass blocking snaps in total though.

Would have liked Jones here but I'm happier with Mims.
