Jamie_B
By the way Jamar had 1 more drop that year than Travis Kelce and I know nobody would point that out as Kelce struggling https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/stats?category=receiving&season=2021&seasonType=reg&sort=rec_drops&sortOrder=desc

NONE of them are realistically worth $30-$55 million a year to play a f'n game! You do realize if they don't get paid that money just goes back into the owners pocket right? The money is already there and being made by someone. You're basically defending billionaire owners to shit on the employees. Just because the "employees" earn millions instead of a "normal" salary doesn't make them less entitled to what they're worth. 1

Yeah I realize that and have stated more than once that I don't care about the Brown family's bank account! I've also said that Chase will get paid but it'll be when the Bengals are ready to pay it not when he wants it.

Last year with NO 1,000 yard WR, NO 1,000 yards TE, NO 1,000 yard RB. NO #1 WR to speak of! Replace BOTH OT's. Replaced Orlando Brown with Donovan Smith and replaced Andrew Wiley with Jawann Taylor who at RT got the big contract! Sure their defense was better than the Bengals defense but that's another subject!
Randle P McMurphy
Hopefully Mims pans out or Trent Brown can stay healthy and allow Mims to come along slowly would be ideal. |BlackJesus|
Since the Titan's playoff win was mentioned, a flashback ... Logan Wilson just made his interception, 20 seconds on the clock, the Bengals need one pass play of about 25 yards to get them into FG range. And what does Zac call = a play that Burrow and Chase have run hundreds of times over several years together ... (not only is Chase clutch and a top WR in the league, but his familiarity with Burrow makes him extra lethal) WILD PLAYOFF ENDING!!! Bengals vs. Titans - Trim.mp4 ... This is why you pay Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow. 1

Jamie_B
What is going on is Joe got hurt and we are revisiting the Chase vs Sewell debate again, it's stupid. You take a WR1 over a RT if the talent is equal, every time. Full Stop. In fact Right tackle is the #13 most important position. Ranking each position's importance, from quarterback to returner (nfl.com) So you STILL take Chase over Sewell.

You STILL haven't acknowledged that you were WRONG in your reply to the article I posted about Chase's struggles DURING the season not preseason! You've acknowledge it by saying you'll take them along with his 1,455 yards etc. etc. etc. but your VERY FIRST REPLY was ASSUMING I was talking about PRESEASON and if you had looked at the article BEFORE replying, you would have seen it wasn't as it was dated DECEMBER 2021, which isn't preseason. That's why I said that's all I need to know about you!

I am acknowledge that Chase struggled less than Sewell, and even if we put their struggles on the same level, (they weren't), You STILL take WR1 over RT. Full stop. Now if you want to ask me if I take Chase over Trent Williams (assuming age is relative here) No not even close. You seem to want to revisit the 2021 argument about this because Joe got hurt. People saying we should have taken the RIGHT TACKLE in Sewell over the WR1 in Chase were wrong then, and they are wrong now. And that doesn't take a thing away from how good Sewell is now.
